IMPLEMENT TECHNOLOGY
• Develop a universal property registry and title platform that is open source, non-profit, secure, and scalable.
• Develop a universal digital deed (Token) platform that is open source, non-profit, secure, and scalable.
• Create a "How to use cryptocurrency with real estate right now" resource; Begin a database for organizing the uses and people,
companies, tools, instructions, etc. that it takes to use them.
BUILD THE COMMUNITY
• Promote individual real estate transactions to occur using cryptocurrency in any practical role.
• Hold regular MeetUp groups and online discussions, and periodic conferences.
• Bring together professionals including brokers, investors, entrepreneurs, developers, government officials, escrow and title officers.
• Drive online collaboration with Slack channels, LinkedIn, GitHub, and Blab.im.
SET INDUSTRY STANDARDS
• Develop a Best Practices guide to cryptocurrency escrow.
• Identify new standards that will be needed to operate within a blockchain paradigm.
• Identify organizations that are likely to be involved with standards and lead collaboration.

• March 25, 2014: IRS issues Notice 2014-21, providing answers to frequently asked questions on virtual currency.
• May 7, 2014: SEC Investor Alert: Bitcoin and Other Virtual Currency-Related Investments; FINRA Investor Alert: Bitcoin: More than a Bit Risky.
• February 9, 2017: Congress announces launch of bipartisan Congressional Blockchain Caucus, dedicated to the advancement of sound public policy toward blockchain-based technologies and digital currencies.
• March 10, 2017: SEC rejects proposed rule changes to permit Winklevoss Bitcoin Trust (COIN), a bitcoin exchange-traded fund, to list and trade its shares.
• April 12, 2017: SEC suspends OTC trading of Sunshine Capital, Inc. (SCNP).
• July 21, 2017: State of Delaware passes amendments allowing corporations to use blockchain for corporate recordkeeping purposes.

• August 24, 2017: SEC suspends OTC trading of First Bitcoin Capital Corp. (BITCF); SEC contacts Protostarr about its US$47,000 ICO, which decides to close and refund to token holders.
• September 25, 2017: SEC creates Cyber Unit to target, inter alia, violations involving distributed ledger technology and initial coin offerings.
• September 29, 2017: SEC files ICO fraud charges against founder of REcoin Group Foundation and DRC World.
• October 17, 2017: LabCFTC, a new initiative of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (“CFTC”) issues “A CTFC Primer on Virtual Currencies,” in which it states that virtual currencies are commodities.
• October 25, 2017: Class action complaint is filed in the California Superior Court in San Francisco against Tezos, et al, the blockchain startup that raised $230 million in July 2017, alleging that the ICO constituted
the sale of unregistered securities in violation of SEC regulations, and that the defendants made false statements and representations concerning the ICO, violating false advertising and unfair competition laws.
• November 14, 2017: State of Wyoming launches the Wyoming Blockchain Coalition, LLC, advocating the adoption of blockchain within the state, including registering LLCs on a blockchain.
• November 28, 2017: IRS grants limited summons to seek identities of Coinbase, Inc. users engaged in cryptocurrency transactions of $20,000 and over in any one transaction type
• December 1, 2017: CFTC announces that it will allow bitcoin futures trading for three U.S. exchanges; SEC’s Cyber Unit files fraud and securities law violation charges against PlexCorps and its founders.
• December 11, 2017: SEC Chairman issues Statement on Cryptocurrencies and Initial Coin Offerings; Munchee Inc. refunds all ICO proceeds after the SEC finds that its conduct constituted unregistered securities
offers and sales.
• Other: States such as New York, North Carolina, Washington and Hawaii have implemented or will implement rules to regulate digital currency business activity (e.g. requiring a “BitLicense”), applicable money
transmission rules, etc., whereas states such as Arizona, Vermont and New Hampshire are seeking to deregulate the digital currency and blockchain industry.
