6. WHAT?
A unique concept for the Dubai real estate market, the Property Times People’s
Choice Real Estate Awards, presented by Propertyonline.ae, is all set to take the
market by storm with its reality show theme and structure. Agencies will have to log
on to propertyonline.ae and nominate themselves if they meet the specified criteria in
each category. Nomination lines will be open for 40 days. A public voting process
lasting 45 days will determine the winners in each of the 6 categories.

PROPERTY TIMES AND PROPERTYONLINE.AE, as independent and unbiased
platforms for dubai’s real estate market, are committed to spreading
awareness about the importance of customer service among the real estate
agencies in the Emirate, these awards have been conceptualized in such a
way that real estate agencies will be inspired to improve the quality of
customer service and treat their clients with utmost professionalism and care.

• Real Estate agencies meeting the required criteria will nominate
themselves at a nominal fee for each category
• All the nominations will be verified and approved by RERA and
the advisory panel
• All approved nominations will be eligible for taking part in the
public voting process
• Nomination lines for agencies are open from 10th of December
2014 to 20th of January 2015.

11. VOTING
• The voting lines will be opened to the general public from the 10th
of February 2015 to the 20th of March 2015.
• People can log on to propertyonline.ae and cast their votes through
a dedicated platform specially designed for voting

12. WINNERS
• Once the voting lines are closed, winners in each category will be
selected by the advisory panel based on the number of votes
received by each nominee.
• The winners will be honored with a trophy and a certificate at a
glittering event in the presence of the who’s who of Dubai Real
Estate market.

Ali Al Suwaidi is one of the leaders of the facilities management and asset management industry in the Middle East.
He has been in the industry since the nascent stages of professional FM solutions in the UAE and has been tasked
with a range of prestigious, mission-critical, high profile assignments. His contribution to the growth of the industry in
the Middle East and especially GCC countries is extremely high, as is visible by the fact that he is on the Board of
the Middle East FM Association, the preeminent industry association for FM in the Middle East. He is one of the FM
subject matter experts worldwide and a visionary speaker participating in facility management workshop across the
world. He is currently in board of the Global FM association as well and Ali was the first operation head for the tallest
tower in world.
Ali has over 16 years of experience in FM industry. He has held a range of operations leadership roles with leading
FM corporations and prestigious appointments, including the responsibility for setting up the operations strategy and
leading the rollout of the FM program for BurjKhalifa, the world’s tallest tower. Currently, he manages strategic and
total FM for two of the major Dubai city campus which are Dubai Academic City and knowledge village with over 100
universities within both campus. Moreover, he has set QHSE process for Khalifa University earlier called “Etisalat
Engineering collage” during he is role as officer HSE in Etisalat.

17. Jeevan D’Mello

The author is the pioneer of the community management industry in Dubai and the Middle East managing freehold
property since 2002. Currently a Senior Director with Emaar Properties, heading its management company Emaar
Community Management LLC, Jeevan has been professionally trained as an architect and has had a wide ranging
international career in real estate design, project management, customer service and community management. In
his past career he has been an author and illustrator and has several published works internationally. He was the
first professional in the region to receive the prestigious Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®),
Association Management Specialist (AMS®) and Large Scale Manager (LSM®) designations by the Community
Associations Institute (CAI). In 2012, Jeevan became one of the first international Professional Community
Association Managers (PCAM®).
Winner of several awards both local and international, he recently received the community management industry’s
most prestigious honour the ‘Presidents Award’ becoming the first person to receive it internationally.

18. Ben Churchill

After more than a decade with FTSE 250 construction and services company Carillion PLC, Ben was appointed
Managing Director of Emrill Services LLC in 2010. As the largest integrated facilities management company in the
United Arab Emirates, Ben’s portfolio of clients included Emaar, Festival City, Masdar City, Etihad Airways, World
Trade Center Abu Dhabi, Anantara and two of the worlds tallest and most prestigious residential towers – Torch
Tower and Princess Tower. Under Ben’s leadership, Emrill experienced a 60% growth in revenue and 400% increase
in profit, as well as a significant increase in market share. This success was recognised in 2013 with Emrill named
Middle East FM Company of the Year, and Ben receiving the European CEO of the Year Award for his visionary
leadership in facilities management. Ben joined Urbanise as CEO in late 2013 to continue his goal of transforming
the facility management industry through the adoption of new and innovative technology practices.
