Serving a diverse population In the last two years we have served: over 2,700 preK-7 th  grade students 34 schools in 8 different districts ESL/ELL, Special Ed., & After-school populations
Teachers can feel comfortable designating precious classroom time for this unique in-class fieldtrip. Curriculum was developed with the input of community partners and educators to insure best practice standards were met. Activities and material s were aligned to state and national content standards.
Hands-on Learning Read & Connect is suitable for all types of learners including emergent & ELL.  All of our themes offer activities that will support different learning styles and establish a positive learning environment.
Museum on the Move “ As a teacher, I have  seen first hand just how amazing this program is.  My students were  fully engaged and enjoyed the variety of experiences the Museum boxes provided.   • #2 Launched in the spring of 2007, Read & Connect has served our community with a unique, out-of-the box approach to literacy. The program utilizes Museum exhibits and artifacts to help students expand their language skills and make real-world connections.
