implantsintoanacid like chemical whichremovedthe coppercoloring
that wasmade duringthe heattreatingprocess.
 In orderfor me to ensure thatwe were makingthe bestqualityproducts,I
had to make the necessaryoffsetadjustmentssothatthe implants
maintainedpropertolerance.
 I setthe machinesupbylocatingpart zerointhe x and y axisand entering
the informationintothe workoffsets;Itouchedoff toolsandrecordedmy
findingsintothe tool lengthoffset.

 I performedfirstoperationsonaHwacheonLathe.I handledbarstock by
makingsure the material numbermatcheswhatisonthe purchase order.
If the numberdoesn’tmatch,Ichange it to the nextdesiredmaterial
numberandI record the informationintoaSAPcomputersoftware that
recordsthe quantityof material left.
 I measure the material withdifferentmeasuringinstrumentssuchasa
caliper,micrometer,anddepthmicrometertoensure thatthe material
meetprintspecifications.Inorderforme to produce consistentlyaccurate
parts,I make the necessaryoffsetadjustments.
 I visuallyinspectpartstomake sure theyare bur free.
