Hipospadia adalah suatu kelainan bawaan sejak lahir dimana lubang uretra terdapat di penis bagian bawah bukan diujung penis skrotum atau peritonium. Hipospadia sendiri berasal dari dua kata yaitu “hypo” yang berarti “di bawah” dan “spadon“ yang berarti keratan yang panjang.
Seringkali anak laki-laki dengan hipospadia juga memiliki kelainan berupa testis yang belum turun sampai kekantung kemaluannya (undescended testis). Hipospadia merupakan kelainan bawaan yang jarang ditemukan, dengan angka kekerapan 1 kasus hipospadia pada setiap 250-400 kelahiran bayi laki-laki hidup.
• Menurut refrensi lain definisi hipospadia, yaitu:
Hipospadia adalah suatu kelainan bawaan congenital dimana meatus uretra externa terletak di permukaan ventral penis dan lebih ke proksimal dari tempatnya yang normal (ujung glans penis). (Arif Mansjoer, 2000 : 374).
Hipospadia adalah suatu keadaan dimana terjadi hambatan penutupan uretra penis pada kehamilan miggu ke 10 sampai ke 14 yang mengakibatkan orifisium uretra tertinggal disuatu tempat dibagian ventral penis antara skrotum dan glans penis. (A.H Markum, 1991 : 257).
Hipospadia adalah suatu kelainan bawaan berupa lubang uretra yang terletak di bagian bawah dekat pangkal penis. (Ngastiyah, 2005 : 288).
Hipospadia adalah keadaan dimana uretra bermuara pada suatu tempat lain pada bagian belakang batang penis atau bahkan pada perineum ( daerah antara kemaluan dan anus ). (Davis Hull, 1994 ).
Hipospadia adalah salah satu kelainan bawaan pada anak-anak yang sering ditemukan dan mudah untuk mendiagnosanya, hanya pengelolaannya harus dilakukan oleh mereka yang betul-betul ahli supaya mendapatkan hasil yang memuaskan.
Penyebabnya sebenarnya sangat multi factor dan sampai sekarang belum diketahui penyebab pasti dari hipospadia. Namun, ada beberapa faktor yang oleh para ahli dianggap paling berpengaruh antara lain :
Gangguan dan ketidak seimbangan hormone
Hormon yang dimaksud di sini adalah hormon androgen yang mengatur organogenesis kelamin (pria). Atau bisa juga karna reseptor hormon androgennya sendiri di dalam tubuh yang kurang atau tidak ada. Sehingga walaupun hormon androgen sendiri telah terbentuk cukup akan tetapi apabila reseptornya tidak ada tetap saja tidak aka nmemberikan suatu efek yang semestinya. Atau enzim yang berperan dalam sintesis hormon androgen tidak mencukupi pun akan berdampak sama.
Genetika
Terjadi karena gagalnya sintesis androgen. Hal ini biasanya terjadi karena mutasi pada gen yang mengode sintesis androgen tersebut sehingga ekspresi dari gen tersebut tidak terjadi.
Lingkungan
Biasanya factor lingkungan yang menjadi penyebab adalah polutan dan zat yang bersifat terato genik yang dapat mengakibatkan mutasi.

This project is about Xolo product from Intel Lava, which is an android-ICS based phone with the Intel specific
high speed processor.Processorspeed is 1.6GHz/s unlike other smartphones.So, we mainly focused on
Multitasking, Interaction, Stress cases in the performance testing where processoris stressed.Here, we will be
updating the build over air (FOTA) and USB update will also be there. This project involved both manual &
automation testing along with the test case execution of the native applications.Project involved different types of
testing like System testing,Performance testing,Field testing of a high end device for 4 months. Same testing
activities on a low end device which is a Dual SIM Dual Standby mobile. Both the devices are based on Android Ice
cream sandwich operating system. Most of the source is taken from AOSP and only few applications have been
modified by client
.And this involves Testing on Jelly Bean applications on Panasonic Devices.
