Docomo pioneered the mobile internet by introducing i-Mode to Japan's market on February 22, 1999, and was the first operator to bring 3G to market. While Docomo has been less successful to capture global value from these pioneering developments, Docomo is one of the most successful and admired mobile operators. This report presents many financial and market data together with analysis, and also gives a thorough overview of Docomo's pioneering i-Mode services.

Japan's electronics manufacturers combined are about as large as the Netherlands economically and are facing a period of restructuring, while at the same time they acquire companies abroad in an effort to globalize. Japan's electronic component sector occupies about 30% - 40% of the global electronic devices market, and are generally better positioned than Japan's electrical conglomerates, although these also face their own challanges. The report reviews and analyses Japan's top 8 electrical companies, and Japan's top 7 electronic component makers, as well as several related companies, and an analysis of the industry sectors. The report is a companion to our interview series on CNBC and BBC
The March 11, 2011 disaster created the need to review Japan’s energy architecture. We believe that it will take about 10 years for Japan to fully decide on a new energy and electricity architecture, and it will take about 3 years to reach decisions on the future of Japan’s nuclear power generation. Japan has taken a careful approach towards the development of renewable power, and renewable power - except for hydropower - is substantially lower than in most other advanced countries. Japan’s potential for renewable energy is very high, especially wind and geo-thermal power, and will required substantial changes in laws and regulations, and a decentralized and democratic approach to grid management. Necessary liberalization of Japan’s electricity markets is in preparation, and we will see a rapid development of renewable energy. This report reviews the current situation and the future potential of renewable electrical power in Japan.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Evangelization in the footsteps of Saint Vincent de Paul
Ramadan Reminders
1. “ O ye who believe, fasting has been prescribed upon you as it was prescribed upon those before you, so that ye may learn self-restraint”. (Al-Quran:2:183) Best to finish reading the whole Quran in this blessed month.
3. Spend most of your time at masjid “ O people! The month of Allah(swt) has come with His mercies and blessings. This is the month that is the best of all months. Its days are the best of days, its nights are the best of nights, its hours are the best of hours”.(Prophet Muhammad-saw)
4. Pray that Allah gives us the strength and patience and to accept all our fasts in this holy month. Perform a lot of prayers….
5. Do a lot of tasbih… Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) said, that Allah Subhanahu-wa-Ta’ala said: “ All the deeds of man are for himself, except for fasting, which is for Me and I shall reward it MYSELF”.
6.
7. Verily, We have sent it (this Quran) down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree). And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr (Decree)is? The night of Al-Qadr is better than a thousand months. The night of Power Therein descend the angels and the Ruh [ Jibrael (Gabrial)] by Allah’s Permission with all Decrees. (All that night), there is Peace (and Goodness from Allah to his believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn. (Surah 97)
8. What to do in the Night of Power Narrated Aisha (r.a.a.), Allah’s messenger (s.a.w.) said, “Search for the night of Qadr in the odd nights of the last ten nights of Ramadan”. Aisha (r.a.a.) narrated, “I asked Allah’s Messenger (s.a.w.) what should I do if I find the night of Qadr”. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) replied, “Pray to Allah: O our Lord! You are the most Forgiving, You love to forgive, so forgive us”.
9. Ramadan Appeal During Ramadan, maximum food is wasted. People cook lavishly just to show their grandness of iftar. After fasting the whole day, and praying all the 5 times, finally committing a big sin – throwing away food. Did you ever realize in some countries, not having anything to eat, water and salt is used for iftar. Instead of cooking extra food and throwing it away just to please your friends and relatives, prepare what is necessary and please Allah by sending a sizeable amount to poor countries for their saier and iftar. Jazakallah ----------------------------------------------- Brothers and friends Did you care to share food with a poor in your life? Did you care to share food with a poor in the last one decade? Did you care to share food with a poor in the last one year? Did you care to share food with a poor in the last one month? Did you care to share food with a poor in the last one week? Did you care to share food with a poor in the last one day? Please do it if you have not and keep doing it if you already did, because it is never enough and nobody knows whose child will be sitting there forraging for scraps of food! HE, The Most Powerful Lord, has all the power and authority to put anybody to test, at any time, anywhere, anyhow. -----------------------------------------------
10. Dear Lord, I promise I will never waste my food no matter how bad it can taste and how full I may be. I pray that He will protect this little boy, guide and deliver him away from his misery. I pray that we will be more sensitive towards the world around us and not be blinded by our own selfish nature and interests. AMEN. I hope this picture will always serve as a reminder to us that how fortunate we are and that we must never never take things for granted. __________________ Please don't break ..keep on fowarding to ur friend On this good day, I would like to suggest a diversion of this'email not broken'. How about we make a prayer for the suffering in Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq, Chechnya, Kashmir, Gujarat and anywhere else around the globe? If each of us make a prayer and send this friendly reminder to others, just imagine how much good deeds we will receive (without realising so). May all of us get His blessing. Think & look at this...when you complain about your food and the food we wasted daily.
11. Do you want Holly Qur'an to finish reading the this Ramadan?
12. All you have to do is to read around 4.5 pages after each prayer
13. Check this out Pages Prayers/day Days Number of Qur’an pages
14. If you are in real hurry you can finish it once every two months by reading just 2 pages. I never knew it was that easy to read the whole Qur’an each month, by spending few minutes after each prayer WHAT AN INVESTMENT!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT???
15. And remember, each letter you read in Qur'an counts 10 hasanat. What about a line?? What about a word?? What about a page?? What about a part?? What about the whole Qur’an???

19. Eat Complex carbohydrates at sehri so that the food lasts longer making you less hungry. Haleem is an excellent source of protein and is a slow-burning food. Dates are excellent source of sugar, fibre, carbohydrates, potassium and magnesium. Almonds are rich in protein and fibre with less fat. Bananas are a good source of potassium, magnesium and carbohydrates. Drink As much water or fruit juices as possible between iftar and bedtime so that your body may adjust fluid levels in time. Constipation Constipation can cause piles (haemorroids), fissures (painful cracks in anal canal) and indigestion with a bloated feeling. Causes : Too much refined foods, too little water and not enough fibre in the diet. Remedy : Avoid excessive refined foods, increase water intake, use bran in baking, brown flour when making roti. Indigestion And Wind Causes : Over-eating. Too much fried and fatty foods, spicy foods, and foods that produce wind e.g. eggs, cabbage, lentils, carbonated drinks like Cola also produce gas. Remedy : Do not over-eat, drink fruit juices or better still drink water. Avoid fried foods, add ajmor to wind-producing foods. Lethargy ('low blood pressure') Excessive sweating, weakness, tiredness, lack of energy, dizziness, especially on getting up from sitting position, pale appearance and feeling faint are symptoms associated with "low blood pressure". This tends to occur towards the afternoon. Causes : Too little fluid intake, decreased salt intake. Remedy : Keep cool, increase fluid and salt intake. Caution: Low blood pressure should be confirmed by taking a blood pressure reading when symptoms are present. Persons with high blood pressure may need their medication adjusted during Ramadhan. They should consult their doctor. Headache Causes : Caffeine and tobacco-withdrawal, doing too much in one day, lack of sleep, hunger usually occur as the day goes by and worsens by day end. Associated with "low blood pressure", the headache can be quite severe and can also cause nausea before Iftar. Remedy : Cut down caffeine and tobacco slowly starting a week or two before Ramadhan. Herbal and caffeine-free teas may be substituted. Reorganise your schedule during the Ramadan so as to have adequate sleep.
20. Low Blood Sugar Weakness, dizziness, tiredness, poor concentration, perspiring easily, feeling shaky (tremor), unable to perform physical activities, headache, palpitations are symptoms of low blood sugar. Causes : in non-diabetics Having too much sugar i.e. refined carbohydrates especially at suhur (sehri). The body produces too much insulin causing the blood glucose to drop. Remedy : Eat something at sehri and limit sugar-containing foods and drinks. Caution : Diabetics may need to adjust their medication in Ramadan, consult your doctor. Muscle Cramps Causes : Inadequate intake of calcium, magnesium and potassium foods. Remedy: Eat foods rich in the above minerals e.g. vegetables, fruit, dairy products, meat and dates. Caution : Those on high blood pressure medication and with kidney stone problems should consult their doctor. Peptic Ulcers, Heart Burn, Gastritis and Hiatus Hernia Increased acid levels in the empty stomach in Ramadhan aggravate the above conditions. It presents as a burning feeling in the stomach area under the ribs and can extend upto the throat. Spicy foods, coffee, and Cola drinks worsen these conditions. Medications are available to control acid levels in the stomach. People with proven peptic ulcers and hiatus hernia should consult their doctor well before Ramadhan. Kidney Stones Kidney stones may occur in people who have less liquids to drink. Therefore, it is essential to drink extra liquids so as to prevent stone formation. Joint Pains Causes : During Ramadhan, when extra salah are performed the pressure on the knee joints increases. In the elderly and those with arthritis this may result in pain, stiffness, swelling and discomfort. Remedy : Lose weight so that the knees do not have to carry extra load. Exercise the lower limbs before Ramadhan so that they can be prepared for the additional strain. Being physically fit allows greater fulfilment, thus enabling one to perform salah with ease. ______________________________________________________________________________ Please do not forget me in your Duas.
