1. RAMADAN FESTIVITY
Every year during the 9th month of the Moon, millions of
muslims practice the “Ramadan”. During this month they
carry out the voluntary fasting in which they do not eat
anything as well as drinking. When the night comes, the
lack of food disappears and they eat.
When Ramadan finishes, they celebrate its ending as the
tradition says with a big feast which is known as “Eid ud-
fitr. It starts the night before the last day of Ramadan and

2. it will last three days sharing sweets and food with all the
family and friends.
Due to the fact that Ramadan is govern by the Lunar
calendar, the dates change according to the Gregorian
calendar.

3. This festivity is one of the main bases of the Muslim
religion and as for the prophet Mahoma: “When
Ramadanstarts, the heaven’sdoors are opened, the hell’s
doors closed and the demonds are chained”
