Never stop asking “why” is a cliché in our industry. But for some people, it’s a way of life. Wim talks about what has inspired him throughout his years as a UX Designer and how that has changed his perspective on his daily work and life in general. A personal story about staying curious and always keep questioning yourself and your work.
– Wim is User Experience Designer at Monkeyshot where he has focused mainly on UX strategy and concept development. He likes to look beyond the screen and how that can help shape good and also fun experiences. As an aspiring comedian he has also developed a sixth sense for looking at human behaviour.
Anxiety is a normal reaction to stress. Teens, in specific, must deal with friends, dating, school, competitive sports, family conflicts, and other stressful situations. When these get out of hand, they can cause an excessive amount of stress to the point that an individual can’t accomplish their goals, and an anxiety disorder is developed. Recognizing the causes, signs, and symptoms of anxiety in teens can allow solutions and help to be sought out and implemented.

Due to globalisation and the digital revolution that has enabled it, in as little as ten years the world has become a much smaller place. Although it is now easier to communicate and conduct business halfway across the world, the cultural differences, divides and expectations that existed before, still remain, with there being no one size fits all approach to how we live from country to country. This means that when developing a product (digital or physical), with an eye to releasing it beyond the home market, we have to consider how user expectations differ throughout the world.
This is where International User Experience (UX) research comes in, which is what this document is all about – Carrying out qualitative and quantitative UX research in countries, regions and territories other than our own.
