Final Year Project / Research:
Scope - Label and logo defects identification in Apparel Industry.
This is an industrial based research project which goes with apparel manufacturing
industry. The quality control is one of the crucial tasks in the garment industry and
mainly cloth quality and label/ logo quality can be taken as the main focus points.
The main aim of the project was come up with an image processing model to identify
defects and logo malfunctions which cannot be seen with the naked eye, using
MATLAB, FFT and image processing. OPENCV and VISUAL STUDIO (c++) were
used to the real time testing purposes and was able to achieve the accuracy rate of
99.5% from the design which was implemented.

Following projects were covered during the internship period.
 Created “Contract Review” system for user interface design.
 Assisted with the Wikipedia for IT service desk web development.
 Contributed towards formulating the user manual by studying the baggage
clearance system.
 Assisted the “Cloudit” team to deploy desktop, laptop and thin clients and
demonstrate the functionality of the devices to end user.
