April 2006 – present
As a practicing MD’s at MARC, I provide a full range of imaging services to
include x-ray procedures, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed
tomography (CT), ultrasonography and minor interventional procedures.
I am responsible for the accurate and timely process of imaging applications,
interpretations and results delivery to both patients and local medical facilities.
I employ TQM throughout patient services and staff management and lead the
staff in every step associated to the diagnostic process; ensuring patient
comfort while the procedures are being performed. We are cautious in the use
of radiation; applying each measure of safety for our patients and staff.

As the Director for our Center, which currently exceeds over 3000 examinations monthly, I
am responsible for the recruitment, selection and hiring for all the Doctors and the

direct a team of thirty; ensuring the highest level of patient care and services available in
Egypt. I am responsible for purchasing all the equipment and medical supplies and for
maintaining all technical, diagnostic and department quality standards.

3. Obligatory post graduate training in the departments of Surgery, General
Medicine, Pediatrics, Emergency and OB/GYN.
Advanced experience in radiology, specially, abdominal, neuro & vascular imaging. I have
been working with the 1.5 T GE MRI system & 8 slices GE CT system for over four years.
ABDOMINAL IMAGING: I am working using routine Tri-phasic CT study of the liver as
well as Tri-phasic MRI study & other routine pulse sequences. I use the specific
hepatocytes contrast agent (Primovist) in diagnosis of some metastatic liver diseases and
use DWI as a diagnostic aid in hepatic focal lesions. I have applied MRS to certain hepatic
focal lesions like HCC; but do not use it in my interpretation. I am experienced in CT
virtual colonoscopy and recently have begun to work with MRI & CT enterography.
NEURO-RADIOLOGY: I have worked extensively on routine MRI examinations as well as
functional imaging, diffusion, perfusion & spectroscopy mainly in diagnosis of stroke &
brain tumors.
VASCULAR IMAGING: I work on the CT & MRI systems during angiographic
examinations, all post processing applications on GE workstations. I also have worked on
MRI using time resolved imaging (TRICKS) for the last 3 years in diagnosis of high & low
flow vascular lesions or malformations.
Medical Society Accomplishments
I have been given the honorable distinction by General Electric Healthcare to
be a consultant and trainer in their Training Programs throughout this region. As
of current, I am mentoring radiologists from Africa and the Middle East, in a
doctor-to-doctor training program sponsored by GE.
