1. Radiochemical research of the main food products
and environmental objects in Khmelnytskyi region
Veronika Troyan,
Student of form 9 B
Scientific instructor:
Natalia Sadovnyk,
Teacher of Chemistry
Khmelnytskyi specialized secondary school № 6
2. • AIM: to carry out radiochemical research on the
content of strontium-90 and caesium-137 in the
main food products and environmental objects in
Khmelnytskyi region.
• TASKS: to analyze the territory, to investigate the
content of radionuclides strontium-90 and
caesium-137 in the main food products and
environmental objects in Khmelnytskyi region.
3. • THE TOPICALITY of our research is the prevention of
induced radionuclide accumulation in food products and
environment.
• THE SUBJECT: the definition of radionuclides
strontium-90 and caesium-137 concentration.
• THE OBJECT: the environment, food products in
Khmelnytskyi region.
• THE PRACTICAL VALUE: we investigated the
content of radionuclides and did not discover the excess
of radionuclides concentration in the objects.

18. Conclusions
•We investigated the content of radionuclides and did not discover the
excess of radionuclides concentration in the objects.
•Almost all environmental objects in Khmelnytskyi region and main
food products were investigated.
•Significant radiation changes and exceeding permissible levels of
radionuclides in controlled objects for the period 2013-2014 years
were not found.
