This document discusses different types of questions within sentences. Indirect questions are formed by putting the question into a subordinate clause beginning with a WH word or with if or whether. Direct questions maintain the normal question word order of verb + subject + object and can be either information questions or yes/no questions. Questions can also be embedded within statements or within other questions. Examples provided include "Do you know what the problem is?" and "I wonder if the battery is charged."
