QUESTIONS FOR TARGET
AUDIENCE INTERVIEW
The following questions are the questions I
am going to ask a member of my primary
target audience when I give my interview. I
am going to ask 10 questions, of which 5
will be based on the magazine and the other
5 will be based on my ancillary tasks, the
billboard and website.
1. What kind of articles would you
expect to find in a regional lifestyle
magazine?
2. How could the magazine
portray its regional genre?
3. What would make you buy the
magazine at first glance?
4. What style of language or
dialogue would you expect to find
within the magazine?
5. Why would you personally choose
to buy this magazine over others
already on the market?
6. What content would you expect to
find on the magazines website and
billboard?
7. How could the billboard make
you want to buy the magazine?
8. Do you think the house style
should be reflected within the
billboard and website? If so, why?
9. What would make you interested
in the magazines website?
10. Would you be more likely to buy
the magazine or visit the website if
the magazine contained a plug (e.g.
advertising a competition or
discount)?
