Example Interview Questions: make sure they are more opened ended questions

   1.     When setting up the course for an event, what are the main goals that are trying to be

          accomplished?

   2.     How important is spectator satisfaction to the event (what is the level of importance)?

   3.     How does spectator satisfaction affect the ways that the tournament is set up (i.e.

          placing of bathrooms, vending etc ?

   4.     What is the main goal of an ops director setting up the golf course (Safety,

          accessibility, highest number of spectators able to watch)

   5.     What do you think is the most important factor to a spectator’s satisfaction?

   6.     Are there any ways you can improve a spectator’s satisfaction of this event?

   7.     What role does the field of players have on spectator satisfaction? Attendance?

   8.     Is the main goal to get the best field of players, or have the absolute best course set

          up?

   9.     How are you able to overcome a “weak” field, and make sure spectators are satisfied?

   10.    What strategies are used? What different strategies are used, depending on the field?

   11.    What areas do you feel you have the most control over spectator satisfaction?

   12.    What method of feedback from the customers do you have about your tournament?

   13.    How much consideration do you take from spectators feedback/comments?

   14.    How much time do you spend working/training with your on course volunteers

   15.    In your opinion are their different levels of spectators? Are some more important than

          others?
16.   Do you feel you have an advantage or disadvantage over stadium sports, relative to

      consumer satisfaction

17.   What level of decrease, if any, have you seen in consumer spending at your events?

18.   Are their certain courses that may be more difficult to set up so they are safe and

      accessible, or to the degree you would like them to be? What about the course causes

      this?
