1. What have you learnt about technologies from
the process of constructing this product?
During producing this product I have gained a better
understanding of using software such as InDesign. On
of the main things I learnt about technologies is also
that some software's are made with different
specialities, such as InDesign is mainly used for text
layout, in places such as magazines, whereas if looking
to edit photos it is better that is done in Photoshop
and later on dropped in InDesign when you are done
editing the photo.
I Also found that during producing this product I found
it easier to use to Photoshop than I did InDesign due to
the fact I had previously had experience using the
software and so I found the functions, such as reducing
photo size, or cropping unnecessary parts of pictures
that were not needed.

2. What have you learnt about technologies from
the process of constructing this product? (Cont)
• Basic technology such as the Internet and phones
also came in greater handy for this product. I
managed to get some images taken on my phone,
and most of the inspiration I managed to get came
from the internet, when it came to looking for
examples of Front Covers, Double Page Spreads
and Content Pages, and without internet my task
would have become even harder than necessary.

3. Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you
feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the
full product?
When I look back at my Preliminary task I realise that it
was not professional enough for me to have turned in as
my final product. By doing some research into
magazines that were similar to the magazine I was trying
to produce myself and seeing into which ways I may be
able to try and find a way to set my magazine out,
during this research I found my self a lot of inspiration.
I also had very little experience of using InDesign and so
at first during my preliminary task I found it very
difficult, which may have been part of the reason that it
was came out poor in terms of quality. Despite this it
helped me, progress and gain a wider knowledge of the
software and how I would be able to improve on my
final product, and try to gain myself a decent grade,
which would not have been the case on my preliminary
task.
