The group chose a punk rock song for their music video based on the genre's most popular target audience of under 18s. A questionnaire found that under 18s unanimously said music videos were important to enjoying music and had the highest percentage of people who listened to music in their spare time compared to other age groups.

2. As a group we decided to choose a punk rock song for our music video. The age of the target audience was then selected by the highest amount of people listening to this genre. Which we found was the Under 18’s.

Do you feel the music video is an important part of the music experience?Another reason we chose the under18’s was because every single one in my questionnaire stated that they do in fact watch music videos, and a high amount of them felt music videos were important components of the music experience compared to the other age group

4. Finally, the under 18’s also had the highest percentage of people who enjoyed listening to music in their spare time.
