The document discusses the various new media technologies used by the author at different stages of their project. They used Blogger to document their progress, finding it easy to use and a good way to upload files and share work. Photoshop helped in designing the digipack, allowing clean editing of images. Premiere Pro was challenging to learn but became easy for video editing once familiar. Slideshare and Survey Monkey facilitated sharing and gathering feedback online. Webeden was difficult to learn but allowed a professional website once understood. Equipment like cameras were easy to use and important for capturing footage and images.
Considerations to make when opening a cannabis dispensary 2sergiomcgeez
People can now put up cannabis dispensaries in some states in the U.S., thanks to the legalization of this substance. It is however very important to know the rules and regulations that govern such businesses if you do not want to end up paying for costly fines or penalties. Even though some states have legalized the use of marijuana for medical purposes, the federal law still prohibits it.

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.
Epistemic Interaction - tuning interfaces to provide information for AI supportAlan Dix
Paper presented at SYNERGY workshop at AVI 2024, Genoa, Italy. 3rd June 2024
https://alandix.com/academic/papers/synergy2024-epistemic/
As machine learning integrates deeper into human-computer interactions, the concept of epistemic interaction emerges, aiming to refine these interactions to enhance system adaptability. This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.

Designing Great Products: The Power of Design and Leadership by Chief Designe...
Question 4
1. How did you use new media
technologies in the construction and
research and planning evaluation
stages?
2. I have used Blogger to upload my progress from researching, to planning and creating stages. This was such a good
website to have as it has enabled me to place all my work into one place and help me progress in my own way, i
recorded everything on Blogger from the littlest post to the biggest post about my progress. Blogger lets you blog about
whatever you like, you also get your own blog URL address and you can even pick or create your own themes, layout
and texts. Another good thing about Blogger is the fact it will automatically keep saving your work after a certain
amount of time, therefore if your computer was to crash it would be saved as a draft and you wouldnt have to do all
your work again.
I found blogger a really easy website too use and get used to day by day blogging. I linked e-mail blogger to my mobile
therefore if i needed to blog and didnt have a computer i could email it to my own address and it would blog it for me.
And i could access it from any computer in sixth form or at home.
Blogger is a really easy way to upload other programes you have used onto aswel which made it more of a good website
to work with. I could upload my own files, photos, html clips, slideshare and scribd; blogger is the best way i thought
to upload my coursework and log my progress. Better on a website than on print. I will use Blogger again in future for
any needs like this.
Photoshop has really helped me to put my digipack together, because i learnt how to use
digipack in my GSCE media i could work Photoshop very easily to create my digipack. It
was very easy to upload an image onto and use the effects on the side such as the magic
tool which cuts out the image you select and it made everything you put together very
clean and professional. I think Photoshop was the best media technology to put my
Digipack together as i started from one image and built it up and up with all the effects
and was really good to work with.
3. Before we started our task we did a small preliminary task to create a George Michael Music Video, this
is the first time i was introduced to Premiere Pro and i did find it very very hard to get used too it first
therefore the preliminary task helped. Once i was used to using adobe premier pro i found it very easy
to put my video together as it is easy to get your footage from the camera onto the programme in the
exactly length of shots that you want and did it in a very quick time so you can actually start piecing
your footage together. It was easy to grasp the time because of the timeline at the top and the effects
where very easy too use as you simply just dragged and dropped. Once i was used to it i did find it very
easy to put together and thats why i think i did it in such a short time. I would use Premiere Pro again
for any other videos i need to put together.
4. I found using Slideshare very easy as you simply create an
account using your e-mail and then upload your slide and then
get the HTML and paste it onto Bloggers HTML box and my
work was quickly and simply uploaded. It has made a big impact
on making my work easier then putting all the information onto
one big piece of blog.
Survey Monkey was a quick last minute decision, as i didnt have enough
time to print i decided to show my video to an audience online and let
them answer a questionnaire online too. I found it easy to type the
questions and pick a 1 – 5 multiple choice. However i found it hard to
put bits of information on there which would of been helpfull to let the
audience know 5 is good and 1 is not so good, yet i think they
understood. It had a big impact on my work as i gathered lots of good
information and feedback back as using an internet platform is aimed at
my audience immediately.
5. Webeden is the one i
found difficult to work
with. I was not used to
any of the buttons or
links and it took a long
time to get used too. It is
also hard to work under
the fact you have a limted
amount of space of 20mg.
Which is not alot of space
and its not good when
you cant put your music
video up cause it uses it
all.
It does however make you make a good and professional site with the space you
have you just have to be aware of how much your uploading. It has made a good
impact on my work as once i got used to it i created a good site for my Artist which i
am very pleased with and it allowed me to use other links such as twitter (which i
created a twitter account for my artist www.twitter.com/brielleofficial) which
reaches out to my audience i am aiming for, allowing me another platform.
6. Video Camera, Equipment and Picture Camera
Video Camera: I adapted very well to the video camera as it
was very easy to use to fast forward etc and change tapes. It
also was handy as it wasn’t too big so you could literally take
it anywhere you like to film and it would still be very easy to
use. This has had a massive impact on my work as without it
i wouldn’t of had a video and because it was easy to use it
was easy to film and get it all done.
Equipment: the equipment for the camera such as the stand
was also very easy to use and very hand to have for still
shots and panning shots.
The lighting equipment what i used for the majority of the
video was also very easy to use as they are stage lights so all
i had to do was plug them in and set them in a position how
i wanted.
Picture Camera: I used my own picture camera to take
photos for my digipack and website as i already knew how
to use it and i found it much easier to take around with me.
7. Because we are not allowed to use You Tube
within the school it made it very difficult to
get our footage up onto a website as the file is
normally too big for anything else. However
we finally managed to upload it ontoYouTube
from a home based computer and put it up
onto my webpage and blog. Which has made I used Muzu for my research into
a big impact on my work, Beyoncés videos. I simply had to copy
the html to upload onto my blog and
then annotate which is very easy and
simple to use.
Picnik is another photo editor i used for the features that
Photoshop didn't have or i couldn't find. I edited my front
cover on this by making it all black and white except her
lips. I found Picnik incredibly easy to use and it give a
funky and professional look to my digipack and other
webpage images.
