The second reason for choosing Warner Bros as the distributor was because they have distributed a large number of horror movies. Warner Bros distributed popular backwoods/slasher films like Wrong Turn and Friday the 13th. Due to Warner Bros' success distributing horror movies, they felt it was the obvious choice to distribute their backwoods film.

2. 2nd Reason
The second reason to why we chose this company was due to the
amount of horror movies they have distributed. Another thing to
mention is that they were the distributors behind various of the
backwoods movies we had looked at during the researching stage of
backwoods/redneck films already out there. Examples of this are
‘Wrong Turn and Friday the 13th (Slasher/Backwoods). We felt that due
to the amount of successful horror movies they had distributed, it was
a no brainer to go for Warner Bros.
