AIESEC Alumni First Thursday is a global program where AIESEC alumni network and socialize on the first Thursday of each month in cities around the world. The program was started during a brainstorming session to help more alumni regularly connect in their local areas. Alumni already meet monthly in some cities, and this program aims to expand those local gatherings into a coordinated worldwide initiative. Participants are encouraged to check the program's Facebook page for upcoming events in their city and to help organize a First Thursday if none is scheduled yet. The gatherings provide an opportunity for the over 1 million strong AIESEC alumni network to learn from each other and create impact on a monthly basis around the globe.

10 years ago, Alice Lee, former VP of Business Transformation at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and lean change agent, embarked on a journey that changed how she thought about healthcare forever. The proposed new system would allow online registration, complaint filing, and searching of records by police stations and citizens. It would have modules for stations, citizens, crimes, victims, search, and administration. The new system is feasible economically by reducing costs, technically by using database software, and behaviorally by facilitating change, though some resistance is expected. Resources are also available to implement the new computerized system.

AIESEC 2020 is AIESEC's new mid-term ambition created at the 2015 International Congress in India. It aims to make AIESEC accessible to everyone, everywhere by 2020. In the Netherlands, AIESEC focused on becoming more relevant, exchange-focused, and developing a culture of achievement. This led to growth in all exchange programs, with 710 total exchanges facilitated, a 52% increase over the previous year. Alumni are encouraged to participate in existing First Thursday events in their city or start new ones to build the AIESEC alumni community and potential for impact on a monthly basis around the world.
Annual Report AISEC 2015 - 2016
AIESEC 2020 is AIESEC's new mid-term ambition created at the 2015 International Congress in India. It aims to make AIESEC accessible to everyone, everywhere by 2020. In the Netherlands, AIESEC focused on becoming more relevant, exchange-focused, and developing a culture of achievement. This led to growth in all exchange programs, with 710 total exchanges facilitated, a 52% increase over the previous year. AIESEC in the Netherlands transformed to focus completely on its core exchange programs in order to have more impact developing leadership in youth.

AIESEC is the world's largest student organization but it is not well known among students in Lund, Sweden. The communication plan aims to raise awareness of AIESEC's existence and what it does using low-cost online and physical marketing methods. These include improving AIESEC Lund's social media presence on Facebook and Twitter, placing information in university newsletters, distributing flyers, and participating in campus events to engage with students and share information. The plan targets business, engineering, and social science students by highlighting the career and internship benefits of joining AIESEC. The goals are to recruit quality members who will actively contribute to AIESEC's activities and missions.
