2. INTRODUCTION
A Pareto diagram is a simple bar chart that
ranks related measures in decreasing
order of occurrence.
The principle was developed by Vilfredo
Pareto.
The principle is based on the unequal
distribution of things in the universe.
It is the law of the "significant few versus the
trivial many."
3. Pareto diagrams are also represented in
graphical form: “PARETO CHARTS”.
Frequency is taken on left vertical axis and
cumulative frequency is taken on right
vertical axis along with causes on
horizontal axis.
4. BUNKING LECTURES
Bunking lectures nowadays is very common
among students. Some students frequently
involve in bunking classes or college which
may lead to so many issues.
15. MAJOR THREE
CAUSES
SLEEPING:
Students find lectures boring , late night gossips
, usage of mobile phones , improper diets.
HANGOUTS:
Birthday parties , tea time , shopping ,movies ,
canteens , playing , television.
SELF STUDY:
Very few students spend their time studying and
missing classes.
16. CONCLUSION
After doing this survey and making this project
Give us a very shocking conclusion that
students who miss classes get short of
attendance ,they have incomplete notes. It
results in poor percentage and bad
performance.
We as a part of this project has found that ;
bunking lectures is really a serious issue.
After bunking 1 class it becomes a habit.
17. SUGGESTION
First what is needed is the rationale. Do we need
to prevent students from bunking classes i.e.
should attendance to lectures be compulsory?
In many developed countries like in France,
attendance is never even taken. Students
attend lectures when they find it necessary.
attendance has always been recorded
meticulously “it seems initially more geared to
monitor the attendance of the lecturer rather
than the student though” .
18. Teachers should make lectures more
interesting so that students attend classes
for knowledge not for attendance.
Parents should keep a eye on their children.
Moreover ,attendance criteria needs to be
changed in our country.
