1. For our preliminary task, we used a range of shots , including this fixed shot. This was not actually the first shot we recorded for our preliminary task but it proved to flow much more nicely starting with this shot than the other shot taken. For our thriller opening, we also used a fixed shot at the start of the sequence. It was relatively easy to record this fixed shot as we used a tripod to rest the camera on while recording.
2. This is a long shot from our thriller opening and we were very fortunate to have the use of the tripod so that the camera was steady. This is a mid shot from our preliminary task.
3. We also used a number of fixed shots in our thriller opening and this is a perfect example , taken in the garage. At first, it was a bit of a challenge perfecting this fixed shot in order to make it flow nicely with the last shot taken , but in the end, it did turn out successful.
4. This is an over the shoulder shot from our preliminary task. This was actually also part of a shot/reverse shot. We had to bear in mind the 180 degree rule when recording this shot. This is a low-angle shot from our thriller opening. We had the use of the tripod so it was easy making sure the camera was steady.
5. This is another over the shoulder shot from our preliminary task which was also part of a shot/reverse shot. We had to bear in mind also the 180 degree rule. This is a close-up from our thriller opening. This was easy to record as we just had to use the zoom on the camera.
