3. There are words that can help you improve clarity in
terms of giving instructions
Imperatives are verbs that are used to express
commands, orders, instructions, or requests. It is one
of the three moods of the verb. The other two being
indicative and subjunctive.
4. Examples:
Bring a picture of your family.
- This sentence expresses a direct order from Tonyo's teacher.
Please tell us three good things about them.
This sentence expresses a request with the polite marker please
5. An Imperative sentence does not need a subject because
the subject you is already implied. There is no need to say, "You
bring a picture of your family" or "You please tell us three good
things about them."
Prepositions play an important role in carrying out
instructions as they relate a noun or a pronoun to another word or
element in a sentence. They are commonly used to express
place, direction, time, or manner.
