Pyloric stenosis is a condition that affects infants where the pylorus, the opening from the stomach into the small intestine, becomes thickened and narrowed. This causes problems with feeding as food has difficulty passing from the stomach into the small intestine. The main symptom is projectile vomiting after feeding.
