Pig Dinner last February.
72 under graduate and
graduate brothers were in
attendance at Admiral’s
Grill. We added events
such as a Friday night get-
together downtown and a
house tour on Saturday. I
hope those who came had
a great time and plan to
attend again this year. I
have been working with
Brett Pytel and Arsen
Balukh to make the up-
coming Pig Dinner even
better.
Summer Graduate Golf
Outing
The annual Summer Gradu-
ate Golf Outing was held the
weekend of July 21 and we
had a decent showing. There
were four teams mixed with
under graduate and graduate
brothers playing a scramble.

Dear Fellow Graduate
Brother,
It has been almost a full
year now since I became
the Purple Legionnaire of
our Upsilon Tau chapter. It
has been an amazing expe-
rience so far. Over the past
year, many things have hap-
pened at the graduate level
that I would like to high-
light.
Fraternity House
If you have not heard al-
ready, the fraternity has
fulfilled a long term goal of
obtaining a house. The four
bedroom, two full bath
house at 1420 Lawnview
was purchased in Novem-
ber 2011 and undergradu-
ate brothers have been
living there since. This is
a great way for the chapter
to start building long term
revenue and now have a
place to call “home” for
years to come. We have
also been doing work to
the house. A work pro-
gram where brothers did
work around the house for
money towards dues was
done last Spring and a
new roof and gutters were
put on the house this Fall.
There will be an open
house before Pig Dinner
in February if you would
like to see it.
11th
Annual Pig Dinner
We had a great turn out at
After golf, we went to dinner
at El Vaquero Mexican res-
taurant on Secor and hit the
bars that night. This year, we
will do a better job of organ-
izing and communicating
details for the summer golf
outing so we can hopefully
get more out-of-town gradu-
ate brothers to attend. I will
be working with the BCA on
that this Spring, so keep an
eye out for the details.
Homecoming 2012
Homecoming was a great
success! There were about
15 graduate brothers, both
from in and out of town, who
come to UT for the day. We
started tailgating in the park-
ing lot of Rocket Hall around
10:00am, some watched the
parade, and most people
went to the football game
that afternoon. The under-

RockeTHON was another
huge event for the Upsilon
Tau chapter with the over-
all director of Rock-
eTHON being our own
brother, Chris Sneider.
Chris did a phenome-
nal job at putting eve-
rything together and
raising money through-
out the year. As a
chapter we raised
$7,452, which crushed
our donation goal of
$6,000. 16 members of
our chapter raised over
$100. The top three
members were Jason Clis-
by with $205, Adam Gol-
dammer with $206, and
Mark Parker, who raised
$1,018.48. During the
event, instead of Wax a
FIJI, we ran a jail as our
fundraiser on location.
The fundraiser allowed
participants to make a do-
nation to put a friend in
jail. The fundraiser was a
hit, and we raised $627,
which we donated to
RockeTHON.
The Upsilon Tau chapter of
Phi Gamma Delta did some
pretty big things in the
2014/2015 school year at
the University of Toledo. It
was a great year for intra-
mural sports with winning
the indoor soccer tourna-
ment, taking second place
in cornhole and out-
door soccer, and
third place in bubble
soccer, indoor vol-
leyball, and 4v4 flag
football.
It was also a proud
year for the Upsilon
Tau chapter in UT’s
2015 Songfest. Even
though we did not place top
three, with the direction of
Alex “Dibbers” DiBell we
put a lot of time and dedica-
tion into our routine which
featured songs like Survi-
vor’s “Eye of the Tiger”
and Queen’s “We are the
Champions.” The theme
to our routine was Phi
Gam Fight Night, so nat-
urally there was a lot of
high energy punch danc-
ing. Although we didn’t
place, we were mighty
proud.
At the Greek Awards cer-
emony, we were honored
to receive awards for
third place in community
involvement and second
place in academics. We
were also recognized for
having 100% of our
members involved in a
second organization.
These awards prove that
we are striving to live by
