Publishing is a process of the production and dissemination of music, literature or
information to the general public.
Sometimes authors are their own publishers, meaning that the originators and
developers of the content also provide media to deliver and display for the same.
The word publisher can also refer to an individual who leads any publishing
company or imprint or to a person who owns a magazine.
There are many ways of traditional publishing still such as in school we have our
own magazine which is called The Heron also the school distributes leaflets about
different events or plays in Drama.
Also the newspapers are traditional because their made of paper and are printed in
printers, same as magazines like Empire, Kerrang and Heat which are published
monthly.
Also normal hardback and soft backs books are a form of traditional publishing
because its not electronic and its not on any sort of screen its printed on paper and
is sold through retailers.
In the age of the microchip and I phones that can publish online blogs also you can
publish new magazines on the magazines actual website and let it be viewed by the
readers of the magazine.
Also books can be put on to a kindle and read the book of the screen electronically also
video game publishers.
H Bauer publishers of Kerrang, Empire etc.
Penguin publishers of storybooks.
Bloomberry publish all sorts of books
