Learning involves acquiring new knowledge or skills through experience or instruction. There are several theories of learning including trial and error learning where behaviors are strengthened or weakened through reinforcement or punishment, as well as observational learning where behaviors are acquired by watching others. Memory is the process by which information is encoded, stored, and retrieved over time.
