Ahmet: I learned a lot of things in the Comenius project. First of all, I improved my English skills because we had to communicate in English with other students. I also learned about other cultures. For example, I learned about Swedish traditions, food and lifestyle when I visited Sweden. I was hosted by a Swedish family and it was a great experience. I also hosted a Spanish girl in my house in Turkey. It was nice to teach her about Turkish culture. Overall, I learned that even though we come from different countries and have different cultures, we also have many similarities. The project helped me understand that we should respect each

FoU presantation
The Friends of Usambara Society (FoU) is an NGO established in 1997 with the goals of promoting tourism and conservation in the Usambara Mountains. FoU works with local schools and villages to establish environmental clubs and plant trees. From 2013-2015, the clubs produced over 300,000 seedlings which were planted in different sites. In 2016, FoU supplied over 625,000 tree seedlings to several schools and villages. FoU also offers cultural hiking packages where tourists help plant seedlings. Through these efforts, over 13 million trees have been planted so far in the region. FoU aims to expand these conservation and tree planting projects to more remote villages.

In 1990, they opened their first Day Care Centre in Souillac to provide education for handicapped children identified through a community survey. In 2000, they opened their current facility, the Sha Lady Sushil Ramgoolam Special Need School Day Centre. Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
