in the field of Environmental Education for Sustainability, which interacts in the
areas of training, innovation and knowledge management and connects with
citizens through a reference communication channel, to enable awareness-
raising. both in the protection of the environment and in the achievement of a
new environmental ethic, based on that necessary intelligent relationship
between the environment and human activity.”

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION, HEREBY INVITES THE COMMISSION TO:
► Facilitate cooperation and peer learning among Member States and stakeholders on learning for
environmental sustainability.
► Identifying, recording and sharing good practice examples, including through existing online
platforms and support the networking of national and other organizations active in education and
environmental sustainability in formal and non-formal education and training.
► Develop and share resources, materials and research on learning for environmental sustainability,
in cooperation with Member States, including on a new European sustainability competence framework

 The platform generates contents and the channel will be in charge of

profile.
 It must have an active presence in the social networks with the greatest
influx, as well as provide inputs to the media with the highest audience
rating.
