Proxibity - proximity based payments
Proxibity is a platform that enables proximity-based cryptocurrency payments and smart contracts. It uses beacon technology and mobile devices to detect when users are in proximity to each other or nearby locations. This allows for use cases like crowdfunding projects located nearby, finding and paying for concerts or taxis in the user's proximity, and retail promotions targeted to customers in a store. The platform generates proximity keys and smart contracts to facilitate authenticated payments between users and merchants using cryptocurrencies while ensuring protection for both parties.

- 14. Proxibity Payment :how it works- Phase II Contracts • Generate proximity key • App pushes a notification, user accepts. • A crypto contract is generated with the users funds. This can be time based, or event based. These contracts are similar to an escrow. • For example if it is a hotel booking, the contract can be redeemed by the merchant upon users exit. • In an event based application, the contract can be based on the user exiting the event venue. A contract ensures that both parties are protected. In case the user, wants to cancel the contract can be cancelled by the user, but it will come as a dispute to the proxibity team. And has to be approved case by case.
