Proteins perform many important roles in the life of an organism. All organisms have the same
constituents of proteins. Describe the commonality in the structures of proteins in different
organisms including flora and fauna. (2 marks) Any change in the primary structure of a protein
may create an abnormality in its functions. Discuss a genetic disorder/disease in which a change
in the primary structure of a protein is held accountable in the human population. ( 3 marks)
