Prosper Bvumiranayi Matondi has extensive experience in rural development, environmental policy and planning. He holds a PhD in Rural Development and has founded and leads Ruzivo Trust, a Zimbabwean knowledge think tank. He has over 8 years of experience as the founder and executive director of Ruzivo Trust, where he provides strategic guidance. Prior to that, he spent 5 years as the programmes manager and policy analyst at the Centre for Rural Development at the University of Zimbabwe, coordinating programmes and engaging in policy analysis. He has also participated in establishing several other organizations focused on agrarian relations, land rights, and rural development in Africa.

• Selected as the Deputy Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Institute of Water and Sanitation
Development (IWSD) from January 2016 to November 2017.
• Member of the Board of Trustees of the following: Barefoot Education of Africa Trust (BEAT) (2009 to
