Course Introduction:
Course Benefits:
This course covers the following Modules:
This Counseling Advanced Diploma Level 4 has been specially designed for
enthusiastic learners who want to excel in counseling and psychotherapy
field. This course provides basic knowledge about most rehearsed
theories of counseling and psychotherapy. There is no particular entry
requirement for this course however the course can be taken as a
progression route from our level 3 counseling diploma.
Important point for learner is that in this course’s literature, words
counseling, psychotherapy and therapy are used interchangeably as they
refer to same term. However on successful completion of this course
students do not become medically qualified to self-examine the patients
requiring medical or psychiatric treatment.
Most of the early work in counseling was carried out by Europeans,
Germans and Austrians, so most earlier terms in counseling field are in
German language. We have tried our level best to replace these German
terms with appropriate English equivalents and where we are unable to
convert the German term, we have further explained this term in English.
Earlier most psychotherapists were Jewish, they were forced to leave
Europe and most of them migrated to USA. So course literature after 1930
period is also rich in American English terms.

There is no particular entry requirement for this course however the course can be taken as a progression route from our level 3 counseling diploma. Important point for learner is that in this course’s literature, words counseling, psychotherapy and therapy are used interchangeably as they refer to same term. However on successful completion of this course students do not become medically qualified to self-examine the patients requiring medical or psychiatric treatment. Most of the early work in counseling was carried out by Europeans, Germans and Austrians, so most earlier terms in counseling field are in German language. We have tried our level best to replace these German terms with appropriate English equivalents and where we are unable to convert the German term, we have further explained this term in English. Earlier most psychotherapists were Jewish, they were forced to leave Europe and most of them migrated to USA. So course literature after 1930 period is also rich in American English terms. • Accredited Course • Full Tutor Support • Delivered through distance learning • Self paced, no fixed schedules • Available to students any where in the world • Interest Free Fee Instalments • Counselling - Definition, Qualification & Registration • Freud and the Psychoanalytic Approach • Jung and the Development of the Psychodynamic Approach • The Adlerian Approach ?
