The Meaning of the Qur'an is a fresh English rendering of Tafhim-ul-Qur’an, Maulana Syed Abu Ala Moududi’s monumental and masterly Urdu translation of the Qur’an and a selection of his commentary. The translator has undertaken the delicate and difficult task of rendering this work in English under the guidance of the Maulana himself. Here is a work with a difference, by a dedicated scholar of an entirely different sort. An immense wealth of profound understanding of the Qur’an is here, a vast treasure of knowledge and deep insight, and a valuable exposition of some social, political, economic and legal teachings of the Qur’an.
This comprehensive Tafsir answers contemporary questions, and makes the Qur’an fully relevant to the concerns of day, yet it loses nothing of its timelessness nor sacrifices any of the traditional understanding. It demonstrates the unity and coherence of the Qur’an by centring everything on its message, like gems hung on a single string.
This Tafsir is particularly suitable for Muslims with no direct access to the Arabic original.

1ST SECTION: LOVE AND REPROACH
Is it because of the remembrance of the neighbors of Salami
(a place between Mecca and Medina)
that mixed tears run from blood-shot eyes?
The document discusses Jude's closing doxology in his epistle. It analyzes the structure and meaning of his praise to God, which includes: (1) addressing God as able to keep believers from falling away and present them faultless before Him; (2) ascribing to God glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Jude's doxology expresses his fervent prayer that God will preserve the faithful and receive rightful praise for eternity.
Jesus teaches his disciples the Beatitudes, describing eight blessings or attitudes that will lead to happiness. He says blessed are the poor in spirit, those who mourn, the meek, those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, the merciful, the pure in heart, the peacemakers, and those who are persecuted for righteousness. These teachings come after Jesus begins preaching that the kingdom of heaven is at hand and travels throughout Galilee teaching, preaching, and healing people.
1) The six main articles of faith in Islam are: belief in Allah, angels, revealed books, prophets, life after death, and divine decree.
2) Belief in the oneness and uniqueness of Allah is the foundational principle of Islamic faith. Allah is the creator, sustainer, and sole object of worship.
3) Angels, including Jibreel, Mikael, Izrael and Israfil, are spiritual beings created from light that obey Allah and deliver messages.
The document discusses the importance and meaning of the phrases "God is Most Great", "Glory be to God", and "All praise be to God" in Islamic worship and prayer. It states that these phrases summarize all worship, answer questions about the wonders of the universe, cut at the root of Satan's tricks, and can be seen as payment for eternal happiness. Repeating these phrases provides strength against disasters, acknowledges God's power over life and death, and declares God free of all faults.
The document discusses the mercy of Allah/God. It provides examples of Allah's mercy such as creating humans with faculties and abilities, forgiving sins, providing sustenance and offspring. It notes the Prophet Muhammad was a mercy to mankind and provided guidance through his teachings. The document encourages following the Quran and teachings of mercy and justice to attain Allah's mercy and forgiveness. It cautions that while Allah is most merciful, one cannot take advantage of his mercy by constantly sinning without repentance.
The document provides a summary of rational proofs for believing in Allah as the creator of all things. It discusses 3 main points:
1. Nothingness cannot create anything - all things must have a creator who is the Existent, which points to Allah.
2. Contemplating the intricate design and order in creation leads to understanding characteristics of the creator like wisdom, knowledge, power, which are attributes of Allah.
3. For anything to be given or created, the creator must possess the ability or attribute to do so. Nature cannot be the creator as it possesses no attributes like knowledge, wisdom or will. This refutes claims of naturalism or that nature created itself.
The document provides a summary of rational proofs for believing in Allah as the creator. It discusses 3 main points:
1. Nothingness cannot create anything - the complex order and design in the universe points to an intelligent creator.
2. Contemplating creation leads to understanding characteristics of the creator, such as wisdom, knowledge, awareness. Nature itself has no attributes to create.
3. One who lacks attributes cannot endow them in others. Nature lacks attributes like mind, knowledge, and will, so could not have created humans with such attributes.
The document seeks to rationally justify belief in a supreme creator through examining the natural world and refuting the idea that nature itself is the creator.

Our Lord, open between us and between our nation with the truth, You are the best of the Openers. O Allah, to You belongs all the praise
This document provides information about Imam Abu Hamid al-Ghazali, an influential Muslim theologian and philosopher. It discusses his numerous works and how he helped defend Christianity against Greek philosophy. It also mentions that some of Ghazali's ideas influenced Western thinkers. The document goes on to discuss the contents and translation history of Ghazali's book "The Foundations of the Islamic Belief."
Muhammad was the founder of Islam who was born in Mecca in the 6th century. He received revelations from God through the angel Gabriel and began preaching monotheism, which increased his following but also alarmed authorities. Due to persecution, Muhammad fled to Medina in 622 and this migration, known as the Hegira, marks the beginning of the Islamic calendar. Under Muhammad, Islam spread across the Arabian Peninsula through military campaigns and became both a religion and a political structure.
Sl7.2 Seerah of the Prophet Muhammed (sws)Ayah Moonfruit
The document summarizes key events from the early childhood of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It discusses that although the Prophet had an enemy who tried to corrupt him, Allah helped by converting them to Islam. It also describes the first "open heart surgery" performed on the Prophet by Jibrael to cleanse his heart. The incident scared his caretaker Halima, who then returned him to his mother. It also notes the importance of kinship ties for Arabs, and that after his mother Amina passed away while traveling, the Prophet was entrusted to his grandfather Abd-al-Muttalib.

His name is the only one provided as the answer to the repeated question "What's his name?".

1) Da'wah, or invitation to Islam, is obligatory for all Muslims according to several Quranic verses and hadith. However, there should be no compulsion in religion.
2) When doing da'wah, Muslims should use wisdom, patience, and kind speech and treat others, even enemies, with gentleness. Force or deception should not be used.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375
