This document provides information about an upcoming seminar aimed at demonstrating that the Bible comes from God. It will examine the unity of the Bible despite being written over 1600 years by 40 authors, the historical and scientific accuracy of the Bible, and the fulfillment of prophecies in the Bible as evidence it is divinely inspired. The seminar consists of 3 sessions on March 20th, 25th and April 3rd where attendees can ask questions. The document provides background on the Bible and outlines three tests that will be examined at the seminar: 1) the unity of the Bible, 2) the accuracy of the Bible historically and scientifically, and 3) the accuracy of prophecies in the Bible.

• It was written between around 1600BC and 100AD in Hebrew & Greek
• Written by approximately 40 different authors
• 100 million copies are sold every year (it is estimated that >5 billion
copies have been sold throughout history)
• It has been translated into 532 languages
• It consists of 66 books, just over 750,000 words
• The phrase “Thus saith the Lord” or equivalent appears >3000 times
• Would take about 7 working days to read from cover to cover

• The unity of the Bible despite it being written by 40 men in 3 continents,
over a period of about 1600 years, 2000 years ago because it has one
author: the Lord God
• The accuracy of the Bible both historically and scientifically, even
though it was written so long ago
• The startling accuracy of the Bible’s prophecies that have already come
true and the signs pointing to the fulfilment of those that have yet to
come to pass

• God – the creator, His eternal being and sovereignty, His holiness and
righteousness, His omnipotence and omnipresence and His love
• Jesus – a theme right through scripture: Garden of Eden; the promises;
the Law of Moses; the Psalms; the prophets and the NT writings
• Man – his origin, his fall, his mortality, his responsibility to God and his
hope of resurrection to eternal life
• The Jews – God’s people, their special relationship, their disobedience,
their punishment, the remnant, the regathering of Israel, the coming
Kingdom of God

14. The fulfilment of Bible prophecy
• The Jewish people – “Fear thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith the LORD: for I am
with thee; for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have driven thee:
but I will not make a full end of thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will I not
leave thee wholly unpunished.” Jeremiah 46:28 <600
• The nation of Israel – “Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather
you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been
scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.” Ezekiel 11:17 >500
• The coming of Jesus – “He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened
not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before
her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. He was taken from prison
and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out
of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. And
he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he
