2. Stein Mart
Stein Mart is a off price retailer store that carries
designer brand merchandise as well as home
accents, gifts, jewelry etc. for discounted prices.
These prices are much lower than regular
department stores. Stein Mart’s main focus is their
consumers and how to keep them satisfied. Stein
Mart could really increase their sales by creating
more brand awareness and updating their current
promotional tools. Getting their name out there to
more people will be the key to success for this
company.
3. Objectives and Strategies
• Objectives:
– Employ niche marketing to broaden the target
market
– Enhance store atmosphere
– Implement customer loyal program
4. Employ niche marketing
• In order to apply niche marketing we are using
several media outlets:
• TV
• Commercials
• Radio advertisements
• Magazines
• This will broaden our target market
• Will reach our intended target market of males,
females, and multicultural consumers
5. Niche Marketing
• We will broadcast on sports radio stations to
capture the attention of our male consumers
• We will use TV commercials and radio ads
that will air within the demographic based
channel of each specific culture to target our
multicultural consumers
• We will focus on TV commercial and fashion
related magazine advertisements to target out
female consumers.
– Ads will focus on certain designer brands that
are carried at Stein Market
6. Enhance Store Atmosphere
• The store will be completely renovated by
making every section in the store appear more
clearly:
– The layout will have a free flow and the window
displays will be more visually appealing
– We are going to modernize the atmosphere to
make it more enjoyable and entertaining.
7. Implement Customer Loyal
Program
• Will give customers a card that gives customers
points
– For every $10 spent they will ear two points
– Every 200 points they will receive a ten dollar gift
card to the store
* This will keep customers constantly coming back,
because no matter what they are gaining something
by shopping with us
8. Design Inspirations
By making consumers more aware of the designer brands we carry we
will clearly label them through out the different sections in the store
