Product
We, the Face Tag are launching “Laser Tag”, the gaming system as our product for the very first
time in Bangladesh.
Service Description
This type of multiple gaming zones is first time in the arena of Bangladesh. Yet we need to set a
standard quality so that we can remain the topper even if there will be high competition. We try
our best to provide quality service to our customers. As we are new in the field of our service, we
will stay a long time in the growth and maturity stage.
Product Description
Laser Tag is basically a game which is played in indoor or outdoor zone, for playing this game a
group of at least 4 persons are needed. 4 persons are divided into two teams and they play as
enemies. Players have to tag their enemies and shoot them with their laser guns. The team that
will shoot every enemy first they win the game. In Laser Tag game we need laser guns, sensor
jackets, mobile device for getting the information and position of opponent players, and also an
instructor who will teach players the rules and regulation of the game. Players have to save or
protect their VIP as well for given time limit, if opponents succeed to tag the VIP, the team will
lose.
10. 9
MKT202BusinessplanoutlineofFaceTag
Competitive Comparison
As Face Tag is launching the Laser Tag for first time in Bangladesh, there is no current
competitors for Face Tag, but we know that there is always a threat of competitors. So, we are
hoping Concord, Jamuna Future Park’s gaming zone, and all rich and well established movie
theaters, parks, and group industries, as our upcoming competitors.
Technology
Face Tag is using the LED light which can change its color randomly, that means the players of
one team can suddenly become the enemy of the team. We are providing our customers the pack
displays with more information, where they can see their team performance somewhere on the
pack. This screen will even tell the player, who just tagged them and which sensor they hit,
which power-up player just received, or that the player is thirsty or need to buy a drink. Face
Tag is using battery technology, for which, packs can run all day on a single charge and they can
either be plugged in with simple and easily accessible cords, by simply touching a connector
plate on the inside of the pack, or now even wirelessly through the vesting racks! Face Tag is
also using the radio technology, for managing the music system and also for the option of
shutting down the misbehaving players. So, Face Tag is providing their customers a space age
dream to a true “trapped-in-the-videogame” scenario.
Future Products and Services
No business is out of the threat of the competitors, Face Tag has no competitor yet, but we know
that after 2/3 years we have to face them. For this we have some future products, as a backup to
compete with the competitors, for increasing our profits, and also for running our business in the
long. Face Tag will include squash, dance pad and paint ball.
MarketAnalysis Summary
There is a huge market out there in our country for real life gaming but no company to meet
their needs. That is why we decided to give our youth group the opportunity that they were
eagerly waiting for. Our main target market is the youth generation of our country, mainly
students and young corporate people. Apart from them, families and tourists are also in our target
list. Though this kind of concept is new in our country and was not in our trend before but now
the perception of people has changed drastically. Dhaka, being a cosmopolitan neighborhood,
11. 10
MKT202BusinessplanoutlineofFaceTag
with proximity to schools, colleges and corporate offices alike has been the epicenter of growth.
Moreover the concept of the game Laser Tag is new in Bangladesh and it is much popular in
other countries. Our neighbor country India is also providing this kind of gaming experience and
according to online survey in India, an average number of games played was 413,000/7.5
=55,066 games last year.
So, it is quite clear that our current market will also have that type of demand soon.
We do not have any competition yet. But as every other booming industry, it is quite expected to
have more &more competitors later. Our Expected Competitors are Concord, Jamuna Group and
Bashundhara Group, Cineplex etc.
MarketSegmentation
We have segmented our market depending on the age range. Our target will be the people with
10 – 50, 50+ age limits. Students form school and colleges, university students, employees are
our prime target.
We will be emphasizing on the below segments:
Demographic Segmentation
For our demographic segment our initial target is to catch the youth segment of Bangladesh
depending-assorting on age class an estimation of age segments are given below:
Figure: Demographic Segmentation
12. 11
MKT202BusinessplanoutlineofFaceTag
Geographic Segmentation
Though our main target is to get the people living in the capital “Dhaka” and the people nearby
but we are also expecting people all around Bangladesh and also foreigners who seeking to do
some fun stuff while being in Dhaka.
TargetMarketSegmentStrategy
We believe the youth group our society is keen to do recreational activities and sports. As our
current market is not that updated with cool and new generation stuffs, we will be gaining some
competitive edge over the market. Face Tag is for the people who are youth not by age but by
mind, our target is to give this segment the ultimate gaming experience.

Company Analysis of Face Tag
MarketDemands
According to an independent survey youth of our country thinks there should Bangladesh doesn’t
has much mean of entertainment like real life gaming, That is why creating a market for this kind
of service will be a hit.
Marketing Trends
Our target market, the youth always wants something exciting, something they can enjoy with
their friends as a team, something competing and fun at the same time and also which is
definitely within their budget. Currently the market is offering Ice skating, Cineplex, Billiard and
Soccer table, which is quite petty considering the entertainment market of Bangladesh and that is
why we believe our Multi Gaming Plan project will be a successful business.
MarketGrowth
In Bangladesh our Entertainment business is growing more and more constantly. Like now there
are two Cineplex to watch movies one is in Jamuna Future Park and another is in Bashundhara,
there also have a gaming zone in Saad Musa City Center and ice skating at Bashundhara city.
As it is seen, more and more parties are coming to this market daily as the still now there is not
enough of gaming and entertainment for the whole country and as a result this booming industry
is quite beneficial for business.
Industry Analysis
If we take a look at our neighbor country, we can see the below statistics.
There, the average number of “minutes played” annually was 413,000 last year.
The average length of a game was 7.5 minutes.
Therefore the average number of games played was 413,000/7.5 =55,066 games.
So we can easily imagine the huge number of demand for this kind of entertainment in our
current socio economic situation.
Industry Participants
As we are the 1st multi gaming zone with new theme of games, we don’t have any competition
14. 13
MKT202BusinessplanoutlineofFaceTag
yet. But as we know, every booming and game changing industries gain competition in no time.
We are also expecting to have competitor participant soon. And for that reason we will be
following market skimming to capture the market and gain sufficient profit in-between.
Main Competitors
Our Main competitors are Concord. As they are in this business line with amusement parks,
water parks in Dhaka and Chittagong. We are also considering Jamuna Group Bashundhara
group as a tough competitors.
Strategyand Implementation Summary
To lead our business, we need not only a customer driven strategy but also successfully
materialize those strategies.
StrategyPyramids
We are strategizing on catching our targeted customers aging from 10 to 35, the children,
corporate persons, students and their parents. People always want to try something new and fun.

comfortable and friendly environment along with healthy but tasty food.
We are emphasizing on intensive promotion for that we are using some effective tactics and
supportive programs.
PromotionalTactics
As we mentioned before, our promotion strategy will be mostly done on the internet. We will
heavily depend on digital advertising and marketing to promote our services. Facebook is a very
good place to promote the service. In addition, with the help of Google AdSense we will
advertise in very strategic locations like our website, activity sites, and of course on YouTube.
Also we will host activities in various school/college/university campuses as they hold a major
proportion of our targeted audience. We will set up branded LCD screens that will show Face
Tag’s gaming scenario and also send out the message of our proposition “Tag The excite in
you”.

strategies will make sure that ‘Face Tag’ will become a dream world to our target customers
group which will automatically help our business.
Competitive Edge
As we mentioned before, we are the entrepreneurs in this segment which means we are the
market leaders at this point. So it can be estimated that at least for 3 years we are holding
monopoly business and that give us an opportunity to imprint a brand label in the minds of our
customers. Meanwhile we will be able to attract the early adopters and early majority.

MKT202BusinessplanoutlineofFaceTag
The marketing strategy attempts to successfully communicate the unique value the program
offers to customers. This strategy builds on the focus of giving thrilling and interesting thematic
gaming zone to our target customers. The marketing strategy will continue to identify the needs
of the entertainment market and to communicate with this audience in the most effective and
positive manner possible.
Future precaution have already been planned as challenge will increase, as costs will increase in
a number of areas, the demands and expectations of the customers will as well. Face Tag will
constantly work to better our service through improvement and changes in its structure and
implementation. Quality and efficiency are just two goals of these changes. The business
manager, game instructor and Chambers School director play key roles in ensuring that the Face
Tag continues to grow and succeed.
The growth strategy is based on continued attention to the quality of the customer's experience in
conjunction with identifying opportunities to expand the parents’ participation in the program.
Future changes in key areas, such as the facilities used for different theme based atmosphere as
our customer base grows will present considerable challenges for all aspects of the program.
Positioning Statements
Face Tag will become the symbol of gaming experience. Whenever people will think of fun
game ‘Face Tag’ will cross their minds first. As we are the marketing leader for introducing this
game, we will be holding the market for at least 3 years until the growth stage.
Pricing Strategy
As we are providing a high class new form of gaming experience and spending high
expenditures for sales promotion, we are following market skimming strategy for pricing our
service. After running this strategy for certain periods we are trying to increase short run sales
this we doing promotional pricing like special packages, off seasonal offerings etc.
