Project Deliverable 6: Project Plan
This assignment consists of three (4) sections: a written project
plan, revised business requirements document, project plan
PowerPoint presentation, and a finalized project plan. You must
submit the four (4) sections as separate files for the completion
of this assignment. Label each file name according to the
section of the assignment it is written for. Additionally, you
may create and / or assume all necessary assumptions needed
for the completion of this assignment.
While taking all business and project parameters into
consideration, make quality assumptions to support the
following requirements.
Section 1: Written Project Plan
You are now in the final stage of the project plan development.
All previous documentation should be combined into one
document that will serve as the statement of work for the
project. Your goal is to have the project approved by the
executive team. The project plan should be very detailed, which
is designed to accomplish the monumental task of
implementation; however, the executive team is only interested
in a 30-minute summation. Therefore, you also must create a
compelling executive summary that is supported by your detail
that convinces the executive team that they should move
forward with your solution.
1. Develop a thirty to forty (30-40) page project plan in which
you:
· Write a five to ten (5-10) page executive summary that
provides a high-level technical overview of your project in
which you:
. Describe the scope of the project and control measures.
. Describe the goals and objectives of the project.
. Include a high-level overview of all project deliverables.
. Give a detailed, realistically estimated cost analysis of the
entire project, including human capital.
. Relate the value of the project plan solution to the competitive
advantage that information technology will afford your
organization.
. Recommend solution providers who can assist with
development and implementation.
· Combine all previous documentation for Project Deliverables
1-5 in which you:Use at least five (5) quality resources in this
assignment. Note: Wikipedia and similar Websites do not
qualify as quality resources.
. Provide all aspects of the information technology
implementation into the project plan.
. Revise the documentation based on feedback from the earlier
evaluation of your deliverable.
·
Section 1 of this assignment must follow these formatting
requirements:
· This course requires use of new Strayer Writing Standards
(SWS). The format is different than other Strayer University
courses. Please take a moment to review the SWS
documentation for details.
· Be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size
12), with one-inch margins on all sides; citations and references
must follow SWS or school-specific format. Check with your
professor for any additional instructions.
· Include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the
student’s name, the professor’s name, the course title, and the
date. The cover page and the reference page are not included in
the required assignment page length.
· Include charts or diagrams created in MS Visio or Dia as an
appendix of the project plan. All references to these diagrams
must be included in the body of the project
plan.
Section 2: Revised Business Requirements Document
2. Document all revisions made to the written project plan in
the Document Control section of the business requirements
document from Project Deliverable 2: Business Requirement.
Note: This documentation must outline the revisions made to
the previous deliverables required in Section 1: Written Project
Plan.
Section 3: Project Plan PowerPoint Presentation
Additional to your detailed executive summary you must present
your findings to the executive team and the venture capital
group that along with the executive summary will convince the
group that your solution is optimal.
3. Create a ten to fifteen (10-15) slide PowerPoint presentation
in which you:
· Illustrate the concepts from your executive summary in
Section 1 of this assignment.
· Create bulleted speaking notes for your presentation to the
executive board in the Notes section of the PowerPoint. Note:
You may create or assume any fictitious names, data, or
scenarios that have not been established in this assignment for a
realistic flow of communication.
· Use a professional technically written style to graphically
convey the information.
Section 4: Finalized Project Plan
Use Microsoft project to:
4. Finalize your project plan from Project Deliverable 5:
Infrastructure and Security to include all necessary changes in
assumptions, tasks, and / or subtasks.
The specific course learning outcomes associated with this
assignment are:

Assignment 3b: Analysis on the Threats Defense Argument
The information you provided in your PowerPoint presentation
on Threats to the Global Environment has led to productive
debates at the United Nations General Assembly! Hence, they
are now asking you to create an additional analysis report to
respond to the issues raised in these debates.
Your fourth project as a consultant for the United Nations is to
develop a report that addresses the issues raised by some of the
member states of the United Nations.
Step I. Consider the Issues
In Assignment 3a, you were asked to create a PowerPoint
identifying the four most critical threats out of eight threats
provided in the table below.
Energy sources
Civil war
Globalization
Poor health of entire populations
Lack of educational opportunities
Cultural taboos
Inappropriate uses of technology
Climate change
There are four remaining threats that you did not discuss in your
PowerPoint. This assignment will focus on those four. Here are
the specific tasks you will complete:
· Review the remaining four threats that you did not use in
Assignment 3a.
· Pick two of the four to focus on in Assignment 3b.
· Identify the reasons why you think these two threats are less
critical than the four threats you chose for your PowerPoint
presentation.
Step II. Prepare Your Report
The UN has given you the following guidelines.
Introduction
Briefly introduce the topic of the analysis (about 100-150
words).
a. State the topic and intent of the paper.
b. Identify the four threats you will discuss in the paper in the
order in which they appear in the paper.
Section I. Threat 1
a. Write an opening statement describing the perception of the
threat.
b. Write one page giving three reasons that explain why you saw
this threat as less critical than the four you chose for your
presentation in Assignment 3a.
c. Support these reasons with at least three credible sources.
Section II. Threat 2
a. Write an opening statement describing the perception of the
threat.
b. Write one page giving three reasons to explain why you saw
this threat as less critical than the four you chose for your
presentation in Assignment 3a.
c. Support these reasons with at least three credible sources.
Conclusion
· Offer a summary (one page or less) of your defense of your
choices that the United Nations can use to address their
prioritization concerns.
Formatting Requirements
· Your paper may consist of up to four pages (not including the
cover or reference pages).
· Create headings for each section of your paper as follows:
. Introduction
. Threat 1 (include the name of your chosen threat)
. Threat 2 (include the name of your chosen threat)
. Conclusion
· Use and cite four to six credible sources in your analysis. You
may use the same source for more than one threat as long as you
use a minimum of four different sources. A list of potential
resources is available at the end of this course guide.
· Make sure your paper contains both in-text citations and a
source list, per SWS guidelines; refer to the Strayer Writing
Standards (SWS) document for reference.
· Include a cover page with your name, the date you submitted
the paper, and your instructor's name.
The specific course learning outcome associated with this
assignment is as follows:
· Examine the factors that account for why the growth in the
world’s population can negatively affect the global society.
Grading for this assignment will be based on answer quality,
logic/organization of the paper, and language and writing skills,
using the following rubric:

Start of Box
This end-of-module assessment (TM352 EMA) must be
submitted by 12 noon (UK local time) on 16 September 2019.
End of Box
This module uses the online TMA/EMA service for submission
of the EMA. You can access this service through your
StudentHome page.
A link to the booklet Information for Students Submitting
Examinable Work Electronically will be sent to you
approximately six weeks prior to the EMA submission cut-off
date by the university’s Examinations and Assessment
department. This will give you formal guidance about
submitting your EMA, and you should read it carefully.
Submission of your EMA is not the same as submission of your
TMAs, and you must follow the instructions given in the
booklet.
This EMA takes the place of an examination and so is also
referred to as the ‘examinable component’. The EMA makes up
50% of the assessment for this module and it is split into the
following three sections:
1. the development of a demonstration API and basic web
application (20%)
2. the development of a demonstration mobile application (40%)
3. a discussion of the future development of the applications
and their implications (40%).
The EMA documentation is presented across two documents:
· The EMA scenario and questions
· EMA Database and API document which provides an overview
and details of the EMA database, its content and the API with
which it can be accessed.
Please ensure you read both documents in conjunction with one
another before embarking on your work for the EMA.
What to submit
It is a good approach to have a separate folder for your answers
to each part and then to zip these folders to create a single EMA
zip file for submission. As all the material in a folder is specific
to that question, you should use three separate

  • 17. End of Box This module uses the online TMA/EMA service for submission of the EMA. You can access this service through your StudentHome page. A link to the booklet Information for Students Submitting Examinable Work Electronically will be sent to you approximately six weeks prior to the EMA submission cut-off date by the university’s Examinations and Assessment department. This will give you formal guidance about submitting your EMA, and you should read it carefully. Submission of your EMA is not the same as submission of your TMAs, and you must follow the instructions given in the booklet. This EMA takes the place of an examination and so is also referred to as the ‘examinable component’. The EMA makes up 50% of the assessment for this module and it is split into the following three sections: 1. the development of a demonstration API and basic web application (20%) 2. the development of a demonstration mobile application (40%) 3. a discussion of the future development of the applications and their implications (40%). The EMA documentation is presented across two documents: · The EMA scenario and questions · EMA Database and API document which provides an overview and details of the EMA database, its content and the API with which it can be accessed.
