This document announces an event being held at Harvard on breaking natural resource dependence in Ecuador. The event will include 5 panels on: 1) the economic perspective of the natural resource curse and its implications for developing countries, 2) Ecuador in the Latin American context, 3) development, foreign direct investment, and investment protection treaties, 4) education as a transformational engine, and 5) biodiversity. It provides details on the panel topics, times, moderators, and speakers for the all-day event which is part of Ecuador Day at Harvard.
This Presentation is For Students of Class 10th CBSE Board. This Presentation is on Natural Resources. The Main Topics of this Presentation Are Renewable and Non Renewable Source, Solar Energy, Wind, Forests and Fuel.
The Marine and Environmental Sensing Technology Hub (MESTECH) was established at the National Centre for Sensor Research (NCSR), Dublin City University in September 2010. Research in MESTECH grew from a strong history of environmental sensing research at the National Centre of Sensor Research which underpinned several strategic initiatives such as the Marine Institute funded SmartCoast project in 2005, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) funded DEPLOY project in 2007 and Marine Institute Beaufort Marine Research awards in 2007. http://mestech.org/

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
