I am a highly skilled relationship manager with 20 years experience in the
industry, working with European clients primarily in the Benelux region.
Over the years I have also gained exposure to Swiss, German, UK and
Irish clients. I am a self-driven, self-motivated and highly professional

Vice President, Client Relationship Manager
Part of senior management within the Company
Client Relationship Manager with responsibility for Capital International’s
prospecting efforts in respect of the Belgian and Netherlands Institutional
market (February 1998 to 2011).
• Successfully diversified Emerging Markets Equities business into global
equities, Japanese and European Equities. At its peak, the assets under
management in the Netherlands were in excess of USD 6bn and I
looked after more than 40 clients.
• Acquired seed client for Global High Yield Strategy from the
Netherlands and also effectively sold a substantial EMD mandate to the
largest fiduciary manager there in the amount of USD 250m.
• Succeeded in cross selling with largest Belgian pension fund resulting
in Capital becoming the largest foreign manager in Belgium. Looked
after about USD1bn of assets in the country.
• Prospected in Southern Africa and Botswana. Looked after assets in the
region of USD2bn with success at cross selling two new mandates to
the Bank of Botswana in equities and fixed income. Cross sold global
equity mandate to a large South African client despite a poor 5 year
track record in the asset class.
• Management responsibilities in respect of a team of 3 associates.
• 20 years investment experience working primarily within active
management so used to defending volatile investment results.
• Co responsibility for prospecting in the UK last 18 months. Responsible
for 120 prospects in local government and corporate schemes.
• Attended many industry conferences familiarising myself with issues
facing local government funds.
• Organised round table with Leeds based offices of global consultants to
discuss and debate EME investing.
• Sole coverage in Ireland including joint coverage of Dublin offices of
Aon Hewitt, Mercers, Towers Watson and LCP.
• Prospected many large schemes in Ireland.
• Looked after major global relationships including several company
subsidiaries of large US multi- national pension funds for many years.
