Nicolas Harper McClendon worked on a project from November 2011 to February 2012 involving the design and creation of multiple models of surgical robots, including 3D models, a wooden model, and a Lego model. McClendon met with a project facilitator, drew initial designs, created 3D models that were later modified for stability, built a wooden model after supplies were purchased, and ultimately built and programmed a Lego robot model using NXT Mindstorm software.
