Product Strategy.

PURPOSE
• Protecting environment and promoting rural livelihood through eco-
friendly handmade papers and products. An opportunity for consumers
to be eco-friendly.
• To bring in more creative , sustainable, innovative and affordable items
and materials.
NEED OF HANDMADE PAPER PRODUCTS.
Demand for eco-friendly products is on the rise, though the market is very
niche for this product but gradually consumers are demanding products which
have social and environmental benefits like : -
- We are innovating different methods for the use of non-wood raw materials
thereby reducing the number of trees cut down.
- Chemical and acid free production process is used.
- Utilising renewable solar energy which is great for the environment.
- Higher tensile strength, resists tearing as compared to regular mill
made paper.
- Premium quality and elegance.
TARGET AUDIENCE IN INDIA
• WOMEN
• CORPORATES & NGOs.
• GOVERNMENT.
• HOTELS (5 star hotels)
• EVENT MANAGEMENT COMPANIES.
• CELEBRITIES.
REVENUE MODEL
• It will mainly production model or transactional revenue, where we will be collaborating with
small handmade paper manufactures and engaging craft workers to made different products.
Also, we will be building an e-commerce platform and tie-up with stores for offline sales. So, the
revenue model will include;
• Direct sales revenue – Online and offline
• Advertising revenue – Ecommerce platform
HOW TO BUILD BLUE OCEAN PHASE, IF POSSIBLE:
 At present India is a blue ocean phase for this product.
 After the current pandemic and regular social media updates on the possible disasters in future both
people and the government are now more conscious towards saving environment. We all are well
aware of the fact that to save the planet everybody needs to be environment friendly and count every
move towards saving environment and generating minimum carbon emissions using product which are
bio degradable.
 The MAIN problem with Handmade paper lies with cost , range of products and availability and
accessibility .
 Our aim is to work towards mitigating the above all.
• Our aim is to induce our products to the most segments of the society.
EXPANSION MODEL FOR NEXT 5 YEARS
• At present we stand with three manufacturing units situated at a small village with an employee
strength of 180 men & women. Regular innovations has helped us to develop more than 400 different
kind of paper and its products which includes various types of raw material, texture, pattern .
• Our products reflect an appreciation for all people who are involved in the manufacturing process.
Each product is masterfully handcrafted by passionate people for whom we aim to support living
wages and fair trade.
• Presently we are only supplying products based on the demand we get.
• BUT IN NEXT 5 YEARS – WE AIM TO CREATE GREATER DEMAND GROW EXPAND IN BOTH
THE WORLDS DIGITAL AND NON- DIGITAL.
• WE ALSO WANT TO PITCH IN THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET IN ANOTHER 3 YEARS TIME .
INVESTMENT NEEDED FOR WHICH CORE AREAS AND
HOW MUCH & COMPETITORS
Investment is needed to setup a core team with expertise in WEBSITE AND DIGITAL
MARKETING.
To start with we would be require a dynamic website
1.Digital advertising marketing, ecommerce, Content development team.
2.Hire a strong Digital Campaigning team
3. Legal and contract, accounting, and administrative management – team exist – but
training would be required.
COMPETITORS:
• There are many small , medium and regional manufacturers and dealers.
• Though the kind of products we are going to bring in using handmade papers is going to be new.
