shows it must have some kind of

being recorded with

The use of dialogues just
being shown whilst the
mouth is on the screen
rather than the actors

words that are being

matter, it’s what's being
spoken that has a effect

and creates excitement for what will be

counting down like she's going to begin to
film which gives the feel of a real
supernatural thing that might take place…

5. Near the end of the trailer
the editing is fast paced
which suggest like the main
actress is running out of
time. This creates a sense
of fear in the audience
which leaves them wanting
to know more.
This shot is used to create fear in the
trailer as the door is slowly opening
and the voiceover tells us that
something came in the room at night.
This relates to the fourth kind that’s
being talked about in the movie which
is abduction.
The first shot of the speaker suggests some
danger because of the screaming. However
the second shot of the speaker is a close up
which shows that the danger is really close
now and anything can happen and by this
scene the audience is engaged with what's
going on and what will happen.
The way the name appears at the end
suits what the movie is about as the
fourth kind (abduction) is the last one
and so the name appears slowly as the
last scene at the end of the trailer…
