In the seminar, teachers, students, and work placement mentors from higher education institutions in Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Estonia discussed students' work placement practices and rethought their competencies based on customers' needs in social, educational, and pre-school fields. The aim was to promote customer-centered competence building in higher education by co-creating new pedagogical approaches based on reflections from each country while considering cultural diversity among customers as a challenge.
