The seminar discusses how teachers, students, and work partners have reflected on current work placement practices and created new educational approaches to meet clients' needs. Partners from four higher education institutions in Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Estonia have rethought their competencies in the context of students' social, educational, and preschool work placements. The aim is to promote customer-centered competence building. Cultural diversity among clients is viewed as a challenge for co-designing versatile service competencies.
