According to CDC.gov, about 730,322 legal induced abortions were reported to the CDC from 49
reporting areas in 2011, that's not considering the other legal abortions that weren't reported or the
abortions that were done "under the hood". That counts for over 730,322 innocent lives lost due to
thoughtlessness, carelessness, and in the worst cases rape and incest but according to The New
York Times those cases only count for 1% of theabortion cases reported every year. Since abortion
was legalized in 1973, there have been 54,559,615 reported abortion cases. I am Pro–Life, I believe
that no matter what, under no circumstances should innocent blood be shed. I understand that in
rape victims it's a more sensitive matter but it's not the child's fault that the situation...show more

The baby that you don't think is alive because it's not even developed is a baby, with a pulse so
tiny and barely able to be picked up by a fetal Doppler or an ultrasound is there and around 9
weeks all structures necessary for pain sensation are fully working. There are so many different
alternatives to abortion, directly after birth the baby can be adopted if you feel as if you are unfit,
not ready, or just can't live with the burden and memories that the baby brings, and if you feel like
you don't have enough money to take care of the child there are programs that are here ranging to
help families from SNAP, Medicaid, WIC, Head–Start, Family housing. I just feel so passionate
about this because it never has to be reduced to abortion, it should never have to come to that, there
are so many ways to prevent it and things happen but there's so many ways to make the situation

How would you feel, if your right to live was stripped away. Imagine your life is placed in
someone else's hands, and they decided to crush it because you're an inconvenience to them. If a
woman chooses to abort her baby, the fetus can't do anything about their life being taken away
from them. Their whole future is demolished. They'll never grow up, they'll never make friends,
they'll never fall in love, they will never live. Abortion is a despicable act that takes away a persons
right to life. That's what abortion is. The dictionary says that abortion is 'the deliberate termination
of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy'. However, that
doesn't really explain what abortion is. There's two types of...show more content...
Common reasons are "it just wasn't the right time", "I'm too young for a child", "I still have my
life ahead of myself", and "I never wanted to get pregnant". First off, if she's too young to care for
a child, she's probably too young to be having sex. So that isn't a valid reason. Second, if you don't
want a baby, there are many types of contraceptives you could be using. For instance, there are
condoms and the morning after pill. There is the rare occasion where a woman gets pregnant
because of rape. I understand that rape is wrong, in every case, and that it is in no way the
woman's fault it happened or anything that follows the incident. Which includes pregnancy. But
rape is not an excuse for abortion. How does one evil act make a second one okay? Two wrongs
do not make a right. If a woman has a two year old baby that is a product of rape, and decides to
kill the toddler. It's murder. Rape isn't an excuse for murder. So why can it be an excuse for
abortion? If the rape victim can't live with the fact her rapist is the baby's father, then there are other
options. She could put the baby up for adoption. Give the baby a loving home. Death isn't and
shouldn't be the

Hannah Wear Mrs Hartzell and Mrs Wolf Pro–life Essay 10/18/17 WHY SHOULD PEOPLE BE
PRO–LIFE Abortion is a very serious situation in the world. It is a medical procedure to end a
pregnancy. There are many reasons why women abort their babies but none of these reasons are
valid. Therefore, mothers should think of other ways instead of termination. These innocent babies
are victims in the womb. Abortion needs to stop because it is clearly wrong to kill our children,
our faith teaches us otherwise, and we should protect human life. It is not right to kill our own
children. Conception is the beginning of every new life. These are tiny humans that deserve to
grow and be born. Mothers should want to keep their babies safe and comforted. How do women
feel after they realized they killed their child?...show more content...
Yet, women have the option of killing innocent human beings by aborting them. It's dreadful and
ignorant and more people need to start protesting and educating themselves in order to end this
once and for all. Pope John Paul II says "America you are beautiful...and blessed...The ultimate
test of your greatness is the way you treat every human being, but especially the weakest and most
defenseless. If you want equal justice for all and true freedom and lasting peace, then America,
defend life." Life is sacred, and we must seek to protect all life including the unborn. Abortion is
one of the most controversial social, religious and political topics of our times. The government
and church debate on this issue and people differ in opinions depending on their sex and faith and
agendas. It is quite scary and disturbing. Every year we fight to win this war against abortion
through awareness and support. God is on our side and the babies' sides. With hope and love we
can stop this awful killing, follow our faith, and protect the lives of our

Essay Abortion: Pro-Life vs. Pro-Choice
Abortion is never an easy decision, but women have been making the choice for thousands of
years. It has become a large dilemma since 1973, when the U.S. Supreme Court passed a law
making the procedure legal, and an even larger controversial issue. The controversy is divided into
"Pro–Choice" and Pro–Life" views. Pro–Choice supporters believe that the woman should have to
choice whether to abort or not. Pro–Life supporters believe that it should be illegal to abort and
preformed. However, there are many ways for this procedure to be performed. Abortion still
remains today a controversial issue, by who should determine if it is the right thing to terminate a
pregnancy or not and by how the procedure should be preformed. In 1973, a...show more content...
The district court ruled in McCorvey's favor on the merits, but didn't grand an injunction against the
enforcement of the laws barring abortion. The courts decision was based upon the Ninth
Amendment. Pro–choice describes political and ethical views that a woman should have the control
over her fertility and the choice to continue or terminate her pregnancy. Pro–choice activists argue
that an embryo has no rights as it is only a potential and not an actual person and its rights should not
override those of the mother's until after it is born. The right to choose to have an abortion is
personal and essential to women's lives and without this right, women cannot exercise their rights
and liberties guaranteed to them by the Constitution. Without the right to choose an abortion the 14th
amendment's guarantee of liberty has little meaning for women. Another point made could include
that a man can withdraw from a relationship when he finds out that his spouse is pregnant, it is only
fair that women be given the same choice. Pro–life supporters believe that human life starts from
fertilization or implantation until natural death. From the view of a pro–life advocate and action that
destroys an embryo or fetus kills a person, any purposeful destruction of a human life is considered
ethically and/or morally wrong. Some advocates of pro–life even oppose abortion of a fetus that
would almost certainly die a short time after birth. The pro–life movement is

As everyone who has been on the discussion boards lately should know, I consider myself to be
pro–life. I believe that we must put the innocent child's life before the mother's immoral decision
to evade her "problem" by killing it off. [D1: State Position] Brianna clearly states that she is for
abortions, in one way or another, by saying that the choice should be up to the woman carrying the
child. [D2: Identify Other Points of View] I must say that I believe the only abortions to be called
"fair", are when there are health issues that could cause harm to the mother, or there was a legal
incidence such as rape or incest, that lead to the pregnancy. [D3: Concession] The whole idea of this
"safety net" that we call abortion, should be eliminated from our society for good, and for ever.

Imagine that you found out you were pregnant and at this time in your life you are not ready or your
spouse left you, thus you would be a single parent. This is the time when abortion pops into most
people's mind as the best option and it's not. An abortion is the termination of a human pregnancy on
purpose. Abortion is not a light topic in the U.S and is widely controversial all over the country.
There's two sides to the debate, one side is pro–choice and the other one is pro–life. Pro–choice is
the advocation of legalized abortion and Pro–life is the people who oppose abortion for all reasons.
Abortion should be illegal for many reasons.
Some believe that abortion should be legal and that it should be the women's decision on if they
want an abortion or not. They also say that abortion is not murder. Some people say that abortion
isn't murder because it says that fertilized eggs, embryos and fetuses couldn't survive out of the
womb most of the time anyway. Pro–choice people say it's...show more content...
"The comparison between a baby's rights and a mother's rights is unequal. What is at stake in
abortion is the mother's lifestyle, as opposed to the baby's life. Therefore, it is reasonable for society
to expect an adult to live temporarily with an inconvenience if the only alternative is killing a
child.(Thompson)" This means that the mother's right are, in most people's mind, more important
than those of the unborn child. The only thing that would actually be at stake would be the way the
mother lives at the time of her pregnancy A women may have an inconvenience for a short time
than taking the life of their unborn child. In society it is acceptable to be pregnant for a short time
and than give the baby up for adoption than to have an abortion and kill the child. It's not right for a
mother to have more rights than a child, it should be

Pro–Life is a group of people who definitely stands for a strong disagreement about the abortion and
believes that this issue is truly wrong. These Pro–Life activists obviously view abortion as murder
because they believe that unborn babies are human beings and have rights to live as better as the
other children. As the United States government's statement, they indicate that "[t]he killing of an
innocent human being is wrong, even if that human being has yet to be born. Unborn babies are
considered human beings" ("Should Abortion Be Legal"). Also, these activists totally think that
abortion as a global issue that reduces a human being because women, who choose to abortion,
dare to kill the innocent unborn babies and seem to be contradictory with the words of God. The
Bible refers to fetuses and babies that "[b]y the time a baby is conceived, he or she is recognized by
God, as demonstrated in Jeremiah [...] [and] [t]hou shalt not kill" (qtn. in "Should Abortion Be
Legal"). Not only Christianity that prevents any act of abortion, but Buddhism does as well. the
BBC states that "[t]raditional Buddhism rejects abortion because it involves the deliberate...show

[Also] [i]nduced abortion by vacuum aspiration is associated with an increased risk of
first–trimester miscarriage in the subsequent pregnancy. [...] [And] [abortion] is significantly
associated with an increased risk of breast cancer. (qtn. in "Should Abortion Be Legal"). This
statement indicates that a woman who had aborted in the past has a higher percentage of the
first–trimester during a period of her pregnancy. And it also indicates that this woman probably
has a higher risk of breast cancer more than the other women who have never been aborted.
Moreover, the Nesting place also operates a crisis pregnancy center to provide some helpful services,
such as providing free pregnancy tests, food, and also babies items, as

When the word pro–life is mentioned it is usually used in situations that involve abortion or
euthanasia. I agree with Tracy argument on how we Pro– Life shouldn't only be focused on fetal life
but all human life. Being able to live is the most precious gift is the most precious gift in the world.
Every time we choose to take a human life no matter what circumstances it falls under we are
devaluing the beauty of life. Creating a process allows others to choose who lives and who doesn't
can lead humankind to a dangerous path. All life needs cared for no matter what gender, race, or
religion one associates with. This also goes for people who committed violent and brutal crimes
against humanity. Multiple states and countries have banned the death

Abortion, when the topic comes up, it is usually something people do not like to discuss. People
may tend to avoid this issue for fear of offending or angering others but it is extremely important
that the horrors of this brutal practice be addressed. During the years 1965–1996 over 515 million
babies have been murdered, this is if you add the number of chemical and surgical abortions
(www.rockforlife.org). This is what we need to understand: abortion kills and we need to know where
it came from.
The legalization of abortion started in Mississippi in the year 1966; it was used in the cases of
rape. Then other states began to expand the use of abortion. For instance, if it was the case of rape,

One way is called Partial Birth Abortion (D&X); it can kill babies up to thirty–two weeks old.
The abortionist (murderer in this case) removes all of the baby from the mother except for the
head, he then jab a pair of scissors in the back of the babies skull and then he uses a suction hose to
suck out the babies brain. Then he uses forceps to crush the babies' skull and pull the rest of the
babies' body out. Salt poisoning is also used, where salt is injected and the bay dies of convulsions
due to salt poisoning (www.rockforlife.org). If they can say this is not murder, then what is?
Abortion is not painless for the mother either. Over ninety–seven percent of women have reported
feeling pain it is often described as intense, severe, or very severe. Abortion is also not without side
effects. Complications such as bleeding, hemorrhaging, menstrual disturbances or inflammation of
the reproductive organs. Sometimes abortion can cause damage to the uterus and make the woman
infertile for the rest of her life. (Abortion some medical facts pamphlet.) Also if you are a women
and have had an abortion you increase your chances of having breast cancer by fifty percent.
Abortion has no good results in for the mother or the poor murdered baby. In the end it will always
cause physical and emotional pain.
What do religious beliefs have to do with abortion? They have everything to do with

therefore to name an issue means you can own it. Calling someone "right wing" simply because they
are pro–lie is rather far from the truth as is calling someone "left wing" because they support
pro–choice. Truth is you can be one without the other as Thomas L. Friedman explains as he talks
about how pro–life is more to him than "To abort or not to abort." It's also on having a higher
quality of life for people in America and the world over. While it should be a woman's right to
control her body and to prevent the birth of a child of rape or incest or if the child endangers the
mother's life there is still no reason to use it as a form of birth control when

Abortion in general is a very controversial topic although it is legal in places around the world. The
pro–life philosophy regarding abortion has to deal with the right of the baby or fetus to live against
the mother's reasoning as to why she wants to abort in the first place. The pro–choice philosophy has
to do with the mother's right to have a say and choose as to what she wants to do with her body
because after all, it is her body and she should have freedom of deciding anything she wants when it
comes to what she wants to do to her body. (http://www.gallup.com/poll/147941
/republicans–unified–democrats–abortion.aspx) Politically speaking, it seems like republicans
support the pro–life philosophy and liberal democrats seem to support the pro–choice philosophy.
Republicans are more conservative and hold more of a catholic–Christian view where as democrats
being more liberal, they would lean towards allowing women to do whatever they want with their
bodies. Although this is the usual norm it doesn't mean that there aren't any parallel views or
intermingling of beliefs. You can be a catholic nun even and still be pro–choice. This...show more

Well, I believe a lot of it has to do with the mother's view on it as well as society's. If the mother
feels ultimately bad about the whole thing than most likely she will abort it. Then again, I feel
like no matter how horrible the situation or circumstance that the baby was conceived, if that baby
is meant to be born then it will be born regardless of how the mother feels about it or how many
attempts she will try to make to abort it. Perhaps she won't be able to take care of it but she can
give the baby up for adoption and another responsible family can take care of it. Maybe that baby
will grow up and turn out doing great things for humanity, and if it would have been aborted then it
would've been a

I am pro–life, and I will tirelessly advocate for our children's right to life.
Our founders and our constitution eloquently articulate the right to life as fundamental, God given
rights. This value for life is key to our national identity. Unfortunately, racism, liberalism and
misguided ignorance have eroded this protection for our children.
The Fifth Amendment states "No person shall...be deprived of life...without due process of law."
Certainly this applies to the life of an unborn child.
It is unacceptable that the Obama administration, so anxious to defend the rights of illegal
immigrants, terrorists and criminals, refuses to protect the weakest and most defenseless members
of our society, our children.
I believe that one of our...show more content...
The Second Amendment reaches back to our nation's founding, as citizens protected their families,
farms, and future from all threats. Our founders recognized the need to entrust arms to citizens,
enabling them to defend against foes – domestic and foreign – and the dangers of the frontier.
George Mason, who helped write the Bill of Rights, said, "To disarm the people is the most
effectual way to enslave them."
Today, our liberal federal government believes infringement on the fundamental rights of
law–abiding citizens is an appropriate measure to prevent criminals and the psychologically unstable
from acquiring firearms. Not only is this Unconstitutional, it is dangerous and shortsighted. Our
government no longer trusts us, but they demand that we trust them by surrendering our rights.
Here in Pennsylvania, firearms are a way of life. As a homestead farmer, my wife and I safely use
firearms for hunting, enjoyment, and protection. Every time liberal – and sometimes conservative –
politicians attack our second amendment rights, they unashamedly assault our culture, heritage, and

Pro–life is one side of the highly debated topic of abortion. However, by pro–life being viewed as
the "God" side of the argument, abortion has more of a moral and ethical base to the discussion
(ProCon). By understanding the views behind pro–life which aid in understanding the views and
standpoints such as the role the government plays in how abortion functions in American, the role
religious views and values play in how abortion is viewed from a religious standpoint, as well as
how abortion is viewed from a medical standpoint, and finally a ethical and social view on the issue.
One of the main arguments for pro–life is the governments role in the limitations and functions of
abortion in the United States, by emplacing several bans and ideals...show more content...
Starting with the moral aspect of the argument, this is the view that all babies have a strong
potential in this world and there are several other alternatives to abortion of which do not include
aborting a fetus (SexInfo Online). For example, there is the alternative to abortion is adoption,
which allows families who are unable, or looking to expand their families have the option to
adopt (ProCon). Also the act of abortion tends to permote a social idea that babies are disposable,
and Pope Frances has even commented it was "The throwaway culture" is regards to how easily
cultures view this like abortion, as an option to "throwaway" something that could possibly have
great potential (ProCon). However, with increasing social norms and ideals the issue of abortion can
be though out from all perspectives including the pro–life from a moral, that ethically abortion is
wrong by killing a fetus and the actions that follow it (ProCon). Then there is the social aspect, by
peer influences such as the church and many activist groups allow someone who is considering
abortion to understand the pro–life side of the argument (SexInfo

"Be the change you wish to see in the world" is a great quote to live by because it guides you to
help others and make an impact. I use this quote to guide my life personally because I want to be
able to use what I believe in, and my goals to make a change. Abortion is a very common debate in
the world, and it has been this way for hundreds of years. There are two main arguments when it
comes to abortion, most people are either Pro Life or Pro Choice. People that are pro life are
against abortions and believe that every human life has equal worth and should have the opportunity
to live. While people who are pro choice believe that women should have the choice to decide if
they wanted to keep the child that they had growing inside of them or if she wants to terminate the
pregnancy. I am pro life because I believe that abortions are used as a way out of something that
people are in no hurry to try and prevent. I think that as a society we focus on sex as a thing that
everyone does and that makes young adults think that they need to be joining what everyone is
doing. This ends up creating a child that neither the mother nor the father are capable of taking care
of, and the mother feels her only way out of the situation is to terminate the pregnancy in the form
of an abortion. I want my impact on the world to be less of a...show more content...

Some extremely memorable moments in my life occurred in Washington D.C., when a huge sense of
awe struck me, on the Jesuit Pro–life Club's trip for the 2017 March for Life. It started off rather
simply: the Jesuit High School Pro–life Club was traveling to the capital for the annual protest of
abortion in the United States. After two flights by plane and a few hours napping, we finally
arrived in D.C.! The club collectively boarded the Metro, which would be our main mode of
transport during our stay. We were off to our first Mass of the trip! The religious reasons for our
pilgrimage would neither be neglected nor delayed, so we immediately began our prayers at various
chapels and churches in the "American Rome." The churches we visited filled

Pro Life Essay

  • 1. Pro Life Speech According to CDC.gov, about 730,322 legal induced abortions were reported to the CDC from 49 reporting areas in 2011, that's not considering the other legal abortions that weren't reported or the abortions that were done "under the hood". That counts for over 730,322 innocent lives lost due to thoughtlessness, carelessness, and in the worst cases rape and incest but according to The New York Times those cases only count for 1% of theabortion cases reported every year. Since abortion was legalized in 1973, there have been 54,559,615 reported abortion cases. I am Pro–Life, I believe that no matter what, under no circumstances should innocent blood be shed. I understand that in rape victims it's a more sensitive matter but it's not the child's fault that the situation...show more content... There are so many different alternatives to abortion, directly after birth the baby can be adopted if you feel as if you are unfit, not ready, or just can't live with the burden and memories that the baby brings, and if you feel like you don't have enough money to take care of the child there are programs that are here ranging to help families from SNAP, Medicaid, WIC, Head–Start, Family housing. I just feel so passionate about this because it never has to be reduced to abortion, it should never have to come to that, there are so many ways to prevent it and things happen but there's so many ways to make the situation better because of all the government help you can Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Pro Life Research Paper How would you feel, if your right to live was stripped away. Imagine your life is placed in someone else's hands, and they decided to crush it because you're an inconvenience to them. If a woman chooses to abort her baby, the fetus can't do anything about their life being taken away from them. Their whole future is demolished. They'll never grow up, they'll never make friends, they'll never fall in love, they will never live. Abortion is a despicable act that takes away a persons right to life. That's what abortion is. The dictionary says that abortion is 'the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy'. However, that doesn't really explain what abortion is. There's two types of...show more content... Common reasons are "it just wasn't the right time", "I'm too young for a child", "I still have my life ahead of myself", and "I never wanted to get pregnant". First off, if she's too young to care for a child, she's probably too young to be having sex. So that isn't a valid reason. Second, if you don't want a baby, there are many types of contraceptives you could be using. For instance, there are condoms and the morning after pill. There is the rare occasion where a woman gets pregnant because of rape. I understand that rape is wrong, in every case, and that it is in no way the woman's fault it happened or anything that follows the incident. Which includes pregnancy. But rape is not an excuse for abortion. How does one evil act make a second one okay? Two wrongs do not make a right. If a woman has a two year old baby that is a product of rape, and decides to kill the toddler. It's murder. Rape isn't an excuse for murder. So why can it be an excuse for abortion? If the rape victim can't live with the fact her rapist is the baby's father, then there are other options. She could put the baby up for adoption. Give the baby a loving home. Death isn't and shouldn't be the Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Research Paper On Pro Life Hannah Wear Mrs Hartzell and Mrs Wolf Pro–life Essay 10/18/17 WHY SHOULD PEOPLE BE PRO–LIFE Abortion is a very serious situation in the world. It is a medical procedure to end a pregnancy. There are many reasons why women abort their babies but none of these reasons are valid. Therefore, mothers should think of other ways instead of termination. These innocent babies are victims in the womb. Abortion needs to stop because it is clearly wrong to kill our children, our faith teaches us otherwise, and we should protect human life. It is not right to kill our own children. Conception is the beginning of every new life. These are tiny humans that deserve to grow and be born. Mothers should want to keep their babies safe and comforted. How do women feel after they realized they killed their child?...show more content... Yet, women have the option of killing innocent human beings by aborting them. It's dreadful and ignorant and more people need to start protesting and educating themselves in order to end this once and for all. Pope John Paul II says "America you are beautiful...and blessed...The ultimate test of your greatness is the way you treat every human being, but especially the weakest and most defenseless. If you want equal justice for all and true freedom and lasting peace, then America, defend life." Life is sacred, and we must seek to protect all life including the unborn. Abortion is one of the most controversial social, religious and political topics of our times. The government and church debate on this issue and people differ in opinions depending on their sex and faith and agendas. It is quite scary and disturbing. Every year we fight to win this war against abortion through awareness and support. God is on our side and the babies' sides. With hope and love we can stop this awful killing, follow our faith, and protect the lives of our Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Essay Abortion: Pro-Life vs. Pro-Choice Abortion is never an easy decision, but women have been making the choice for thousands of years. It has become a large dilemma since 1973, when the U.S. Supreme Court passed a law making the procedure legal, and an even larger controversial issue. The controversy is divided into "Pro–Choice" and Pro–Life" views. Pro–Choice supporters believe that the woman should have to choice whether to abort or not. Pro–Life supporters believe that it should be illegal to abort and preformed. However, there are many ways for this procedure to be performed. Abortion still remains today a controversial issue, by who should determine if it is the right thing to terminate a pregnancy or not and by how the procedure should be preformed. In 1973, a...show more content... The district court ruled in McCorvey's favor on the merits, but didn't grand an injunction against the enforcement of the laws barring abortion. The courts decision was based upon the Ninth Amendment. Pro–choice describes political and ethical views that a woman should have the control over her fertility and the choice to continue or terminate her pregnancy. Pro–choice activists argue that an embryo has no rights as it is only a potential and not an actual person and its rights should not override those of the mother's until after it is born. The right to choose to have an abortion is personal and essential to women's lives and without this right, women cannot exercise their rights and liberties guaranteed to them by the Constitution. Without the right to choose an abortion the 14th amendment's guarantee of liberty has little meaning for women. Another point made could include that a man can withdraw from a relationship when he finds out that his spouse is pregnant, it is only fair that women be given the same choice. Pro–life supporters believe that human life starts from fertilization or implantation until natural death. From the view of a pro–life advocate and action that destroys an embryo or fetus kills a person, any purposeful destruction of a human life is considered ethically and/or morally wrong. Some advocates of pro–life even oppose abortion of a fetus that would almost certainly die a short time after birth. The pro–life movement is Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Pro Life Speech As everyone who has been on the discussion boards lately should know, I consider myself to be pro–life. I believe that we must put the innocent child's life before the mother's immoral decision to evade her "problem" by killing it off. [D1: State Position] Brianna clearly states that she is for abortions, in one way or another, by saying that the choice should be up to the woman carrying the child. [D2: Identify Other Points of View] I must say that I believe the only abortions to be called "fair", are when there are health issues that could cause harm to the mother, or there was a legal incidence such as rape or incest, that lead to the pregnancy. [D3: Concession] The whole idea of this "safety net" that we call abortion, should be eliminated from our society for good, and for ever. ...show more content... Although you may never get an abortion, we should think about the people who are less equipped to take on the world as a mother or a father, and establish our image, and set the example as the nation who does not kill their babies because they they quite frankly, have the choice Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Essay On Pro Life Imagine that you found out you were pregnant and at this time in your life you are not ready or your spouse left you, thus you would be a single parent. This is the time when abortion pops into most people's mind as the best option and it's not. An abortion is the termination of a human pregnancy on purpose. Abortion is not a light topic in the U.S and is widely controversial all over the country. There's two sides to the debate, one side is pro–choice and the other one is pro–life. Pro–choice is the advocation of legalized abortion and Pro–life is the people who oppose abortion for all reasons. Abortion should be illegal for many reasons. Some believe that abortion should be legal and that it should be the women's decision on if they want an abortion or not. They also say that abortion is not murder. Some people say that abortion isn't murder because it says that fertilized eggs, embryos and fetuses couldn't survive out of the womb most of the time anyway. Pro–choice people say it's...show more content... "The comparison between a baby's rights and a mother's rights is unequal. What is at stake in abortion is the mother's lifestyle, as opposed to the baby's life. Therefore, it is reasonable for society to expect an adult to live temporarily with an inconvenience if the only alternative is killing a child.(Thompson)" This means that the mother's right are, in most people's mind, more important than those of the unborn child. The only thing that would actually be at stake would be the way the mother lives at the time of her pregnancy A women may have an inconvenience for a short time than taking the life of their unborn child. In society it is acceptable to be pregnant for a short time and than give the baby up for adoption than to have an abortion and kill the child. It's not right for a mother to have more rights than a child, it should be Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. Pro Life Essay Pro–Life is a group of people who definitely stands for a strong disagreement about the abortion and believes that this issue is truly wrong. These Pro–Life activists obviously view abortion as murder because they believe that unborn babies are human beings and have rights to live as better as the other children. As the United States government's statement, they indicate that "[t]he killing of an innocent human being is wrong, even if that human being has yet to be born. Unborn babies are considered human beings" ("Should Abortion Be Legal"). Also, these activists totally think that abortion as a global issue that reduces a human being because women, who choose to abortion, dare to kill the innocent unborn babies and seem to be contradictory with the words of God. The Bible refers to fetuses and babies that "[b]y the time a baby is conceived, he or she is recognized by God, as demonstrated in Jeremiah [...] [and] [t]hou shalt not kill" (qtn. in "Should Abortion Be Legal"). Not only Christianity that prevents any act of abortion, but Buddhism does as well. the BBC states that "[t]raditional Buddhism rejects abortion because it involves the deliberate...show more content... This statement indicates that a woman who had aborted in the past has a higher percentage of the first–trimester during a period of her pregnancy. And it also indicates that this woman probably has a higher risk of breast cancer more than the other women who have never been aborted. Moreover, the Nesting place also operates a crisis pregnancy center to provide some helpful services, such as providing free pregnancy tests, food, and also babies items, as Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. Pro Life Analysis When the word pro–life is mentioned it is usually used in situations that involve abortion or euthanasia. I agree with Tracy argument on how we Pro– Life shouldn't only be focused on fetal life but all human life. Being able to live is the most precious gift is the most precious gift in the world. Every time we choose to take a human life no matter what circumstances it falls under we are devaluing the beauty of life. Creating a process allows others to choose who lives and who doesn't can lead humankind to a dangerous path. All life needs cared for no matter what gender, race, or religion one associates with. This also goes for people who committed violent and brutal crimes against humanity. Multiple states and countries have banned the death Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. Pro-Life Essay examples Pro–Life English I 1 Abortion, when the topic comes up, it is usually something people do not like to discuss. People may tend to avoid this issue for fear of offending or angering others but it is extremely important that the horrors of this brutal practice be addressed. During the years 1965–1996 over 515 million babies have been murdered, this is if you add the number of chemical and surgical abortions (www.rockforlife.org). This is what we need to understand: abortion kills and we need to know where it came from. The legalization of abortion started in Mississippi in the year 1966; it was used in the cases of rape. Then other states began to expand the use of abortion. For instance, if it was the case of rape, ...show more content... One way is called Partial Birth Abortion (D&X); it can kill babies up to thirty–two weeks old. The abortionist (murderer in this case) removes all of the baby from the mother except for the head, he then jab a pair of scissors in the back of the babies skull and then he uses a suction hose to suck out the babies brain. Then he uses forceps to crush the babies' skull and pull the rest of the babies' body out. Salt poisoning is also used, where salt is injected and the bay dies of convulsions due to salt poisoning (www.rockforlife.org). If they can say this is not murder, then what is? Abortion is not painless for the mother either. Over ninety–seven percent of women have reported feeling pain it is often described as intense, severe, or very severe. Abortion is also not without side effects. Complications such as bleeding, hemorrhaging, menstrual disturbances or inflammation of the reproductive organs. Sometimes abortion can cause damage to the uterus and make the woman infertile for the rest of her life. (Abortion some medical facts pamphlet.) Also if you are a women and have had an abortion you increase your chances of having breast cancer by fifty percent. Abortion has no good results in for the mother or the poor murdered baby. In the end it will always cause physical and emotional pain. What do religious beliefs have to do with abortion? They have everything to do with Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. Why I Am Pro Life The New York Times. Why I am Pro –Life. October 27 2012. To name something is to own it; therefore to name an issue means you can own it. Calling someone "right wing" simply because they are pro–lie is rather far from the truth as is calling someone "left wing" because they support pro–choice. Truth is you can be one without the other as Thomas L. Friedman explains as he talks about how pro–life is more to him than "To abort or not to abort." It's also on having a higher quality of life for people in America and the world over. While it should be a woman's right to control her body and to prevent the birth of a child of rape or incest or if the child endangers the mother's life there is still no reason to use it as a form of birth control when Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 11. Pro Life Research Paper Abortion in general is a very controversial topic although it is legal in places around the world. The pro–life philosophy regarding abortion has to deal with the right of the baby or fetus to live against the mother's reasoning as to why she wants to abort in the first place. The pro–choice philosophy has to do with the mother's right to have a say and choose as to what she wants to do with her body because after all, it is her body and she should have freedom of deciding anything she wants when it comes to what she wants to do to her body. (http://www.gallup.com/poll/147941 /republicans–unified–democrats–abortion.aspx) Politically speaking, it seems like republicans support the pro–life philosophy and liberal democrats seem to support the pro–choice philosophy. Republicans are more conservative and hold more of a catholic–Christian view where as democrats being more liberal, they would lean towards allowing women to do whatever they want with their bodies. Although this is the usual norm it doesn't mean that there aren't any parallel views or intermingling of beliefs. You can be a catholic nun even and still be pro–choice. This...show more content... Well, I believe a lot of it has to do with the mother's view on it as well as society's. If the mother feels ultimately bad about the whole thing than most likely she will abort it. Then again, I feel like no matter how horrible the situation or circumstance that the baby was conceived, if that baby is meant to be born then it will be born regardless of how the mother feels about it or how many attempts she will try to make to abort it. Perhaps she won't be able to take care of it but she can give the baby up for adoption and another responsible family can take care of it. Maybe that baby will grow up and turn out doing great things for humanity, and if it would have been aborted then it would've been a Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 13. Pro Life Research Paper Life I am pro–life, and I will tirelessly advocate for our children's right to life. Our founders and our constitution eloquently articulate the right to life as fundamental, God given rights. This value for life is key to our national identity. Unfortunately, racism, liberalism and misguided ignorance have eroded this protection for our children. The Fifth Amendment states "No person shall...be deprived of life...without due process of law." Certainly this applies to the life of an unborn child. It is unacceptable that the Obama administration, so anxious to defend the rights of illegal immigrants, terrorists and criminals, refuses to protect the weakest and most defenseless members of our society, our children. I believe that one of our...show more content... The Second Amendment reaches back to our nation's founding, as citizens protected their families, farms, and future from all threats. Our founders recognized the need to entrust arms to citizens, enabling them to defend against foes – domestic and foreign – and the dangers of the frontier. George Mason, who helped write the Bill of Rights, said, "To disarm the people is the most effectual way to enslave them." Today, our liberal federal government believes infringement on the fundamental rights of law–abiding citizens is an appropriate measure to prevent criminals and the psychologically unstable from acquiring firearms. Not only is this Unconstitutional, it is dangerous and shortsighted. Our government no longer trusts us, but they demand that we trust them by surrendering our rights. Here in Pennsylvania, firearms are a way of life. As a homestead farmer, my wife and I safely use firearms for hunting, enjoyment, and protection. However, by pro–life being viewed as the "God" side of the argument, abortion has more of a moral and ethical base to the discussion (ProCon). By understanding the views behind pro–life which aid in understanding the views and standpoints such as the role the government plays in how abortion functions in American, the role religious views and values play in how abortion is viewed from a religious standpoint, as well as how abortion is viewed from a medical standpoint, and finally a ethical and social view on the issue. One of the main arguments for pro–life is the governments role in the limitations and functions of abortion in the United States, by emplacing several bans and ideals...show more content... Starting with the moral aspect of the argument, this is the view that all babies have a strong potential in this world and there are several other alternatives to abortion of which do not include aborting a fetus (SexInfo Online). For example, there is the alternative to abortion is adoption, which allows families who are unable, or looking to expand their families have the option to adopt (ProCon). Also the act of abortion tends to permote a social idea that babies are disposable, and Pope Frances has even commented it was "The throwaway culture" is regards to how easily cultures view this like abortion, as an option to "throwaway" something that could possibly have great potential (ProCon). However, with increasing social norms and ideals the issue of abortion can be though out from all perspectives including the pro–life from a moral, that ethically abortion is wrong by killing a fetus and the actions that follow it (ProCon). • 15. Pro Life "Be the change you wish to see in the world" is a great quote to live by because it guides you to help others and make an impact. I use this quote to guide my life personally because I want to be able to use what I believe in, and my goals to make a change. Abortion is a very common debate in the world, and it has been this way for hundreds of years. There are two main arguments when it comes to abortion, most people are either Pro Life or Pro Choice. People that are pro life are against abortions and believe that every human life has equal worth and should have the opportunity to live. While people who are pro choice believe that women should have the choice to decide if they wanted to keep the child that they had growing inside of them or if she wants to terminate the pregnancy. I am pro life because I believe that abortions are used as a way out of something that people are in no hurry to try and prevent. I think that as a society we focus on sex as a thing that everyone does and that makes young adults think that they need to be joining what everyone is doing. This ends up creating a child that neither the mother nor the father are capable of taking care of, and the mother feels her only way out of the situation is to terminate the pregnancy in the form of an abortion. • 16. Pro Life Experience Some extremely memorable moments in my life occurred in Washington D.C., when a huge sense of awe struck me, on the Jesuit Pro–life Club's trip for the 2017 March for Life. It started off rather simply: the Jesuit High School Pro–life Club was traveling to the capital for the annual protest of abortion in the United States. After two flights by plane and a few hours napping, we finally arrived in D.C.! The club collectively boarded the Metro, which would be our main mode of transport during our stay. We were off to our first Mass of the trip! The religious reasons for our pilgrimage would neither be neglected nor delayed, so we immediately began our prayers at various chapels and churches in the "American Rome." The churches we visited filled Get more content on HelpWriting.net
