Pringles have environmental and human health effects. They use less packaging than regular potato chips but require more energy to produce since potatoes are ground into a paste and molded into shape before frying. Pringles also contribute to obesity since they are high in fat and calories and it is difficult to tell they are made from potatoes. They can put other snack companies out of business due to their unique manufacturing process.
