PRIMARY FREIGHT
What is Primary Freight ?
Primary Freight primarily includes the
Transportation cost between our Factory,
CDC and DC.
And also from our Factory/ CDC to Customers.

3. About Logistics portal for Primary Freight
 The portal provides a comprehensive view on our
Primary freight process.
 It serves as a useful platform for our Primary freight
process, and helps us view its in-depth details.
 All the logistics data is maintained primarily in our
SAP servers.

4. How it works :
 All the required logistics data in fed in to SAP by End-user
i.e. concerned depot/ factory staff.
 That information is then reviewed by HO Supply Chain team.
 After verification of information, it is then reflected in the
online portal of Primary Freight.

5. An overview of Dashboard
All the movements are broadly
categorized in three category namely:
Depot, Factory & RDC (Ludhiana).
It categorizes the type of
movement. That is, whether it is
from DC-to-DC, Factory-to-
DC/RDC, Factory-to-Factory, etc.
It reflects the number of vehicles
dispatched for the said category of
Movement type.
It shows the total quantity of material
(in MT) which is moved in the said
category of movement type.
This column shows the Total Freight
amount (in Lacs), for the said category.
This column shows the total no. of days
of Late delivery of consignment, in the
said movement type.
These columns show the arrival status
of consignments. Whether it is Delayed
arrival, Timely arrival, Early arrival, or
the consignment is still In-Transit.

An Overview
 All the vehicles that are In-Transit are listed out in this report.
 Here we can get the vehicle-wise information of all
consignment that are still on their way.
 This report also shows us the freight amount details for each
vehicle i.e. Approved amount & Total payable amount.

 It helps us to daily track each vehicle and follow-up accordingly.
