Antonis Samaras is the current Prime Minister of Greece. He was born into an upper-class family in Athens who founded many public buildings. Samaras had an accomplished tennis career as a youth, winning championships at age 17. He received his education in Greece and the United States, obtaining a B.A. from Amherst College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Samaras leads the Nea Dimokratia political party and became Prime Minister in 2012, though it was a challenging time with shifting public opinions about political parties in Greece.
