We examine the problem of weaknesses in frameworks of conceptual modeling for handling certain aspects of the system being modeled. We propose the use of a flow-based modeling methodology at the conceptual level. Specifically, and without loss of generality, we develop a conceptual description that can be used for controlling the maintenance of a physical system, and demonstrate it by applying it to an existing electrical power plant system. Recent studies reveal difficulties in finding comprehensive answers for monitoring operations and identifying risks as well as the fact that incomplete information can easily lead to incorrect maintenance. A unified framework for integrated conceptualization is therefore needed. The conceptual modeling approach integrates maintenance operations into a total system comprising humans, physical objects, and information. The proposed model is constructed of (abstract) machines of “things” connected by flows, forming an integrated whole. It represents a man-made, intentionally constructed system and includes technical and human “things” observable in the real world, exemplified by the study case described in this paper. Agent technology is a software paradigm that permits to implement large and complex distributed
applications. In order to assist the development of multi-agent systems, agent-oriented methodologies
(AOM) have been created in the last years to support modeling more and more complex applications in
many different domains. By defining in a non-ambiguous way concepts used in a specific domain, Meta
modeling may represent a step towards such interoperability. In the Transport domain, this paper propose
an agent-oriented meta-model that provides rigorous concepts for conducting transportation system
problem modeling. The aim is to allow analysts to produce a transportation system model that precisely
captures the knowledge of an organization so that an agent-oriented requirements specification of the
system-to-be and its operational corporate environment can be derived from it. To this end, we extend and
adapt an existing meta-model, Extended Gaia, to build a meta-model and an adequate model for

A brief discussion of job allocation, transfer and location policy is given with explanation of how load imbalance condition is solved within the system. A flow of scheme is given with essential code and analysis of present algorithm is given to show how this algorithm is better.

Aligning the business operations with the appropriate IT infrastructure is a challenging and critical activity. Without efficient business/IT alignment, the companies face the risk not to be able to deliver their business services satisfactorily and that their image is seriously altered and jeopardized. Among the many challenges of business/IT alignment is the access rights management which should be conducted considering the rising governance needs, such as taking into account the business actors' responsibility. Unfortunately, in this domain, we have observed that no solution, model and method, fully considers and integrates the new needs yet. Therefore, the paper proposes firstly to define an expressive Responsibility metamodel, named ReMMo, which allows representing the existing responsibilities at the business layer and, thereby, allows engineering the access rights required to perform these responsibilities, at the application layer. Dynamic Simulation of Construction Machinery: Towards an Operator Model
In dynamic simulation of complete wheel loaders, one interesting aspect, specific for the working task, is the momentary power distribution between drive train and hydraulics, which is balanced by the operator.
This paper presents the initial results to a simulation model of a human operator. Rather than letting the operator model follow a predefined path with control inputs at given points, it follows a collection of general rules that together describe the machine's working cycle in a generic way. The advantage of this is that the working task description and the operator model itself are independent of the machine's technical parameters. Complete sub-system characteristics can thus be changed without compromising the relevance and validity of the simulation. Ultimately, this can be used to assess a machine's total performance, fuel efficiency and operability already in the concept phase of the product development process.

Software engineering is a field of engineering, for designing and writing programs for computers or other electronic devices. A software engineer, or programmer, writes software (or changes existing software) and compiles software using methods that make it better quality. Is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testingand main tenance of software in a systematic method. Now a days the robotics are also plays an important role in present automation concepts. But we have several challenges in that robots when they are operated in some critical environments. Motion planning and task planning are two fundamental problems in robotics that have been addressed from different perspectives. For resolve this there are Temporal logic based approaches that automatically generate controllers have been shown to be useful for mission level planning of motion, surveillance and navigation, among others. These approaches critically rely on the validity of the environment models used for synthesis. Yet simplifying assumptions are inevitable to reduce complexity and provide mission-level guarantees; no plan can guarantee results in a model of a world in which everything can go wrong. In this paper, we show how our approach, which reduces reliance on a single model by introducing a stack of models, can endow systems with incremental guarantees based on increasingly strengthened assumptions, supporting graceful degradation when the environment does not behave as expected, and progressive enhancement when it does.

State of the art of agile governance a systematic review
This document summarizes a systematic literature review on the state of agile governance. The review identified over 1,900 studies from 10 databases, of which 167 provided evidence to answer the research questions. The studies were organized into four major groups: software engineering, enterprise, manufacturing, and multidisciplinary. The review provides a definition of agile governance, six meta-principles, and a map of findings organized by topic and classified by relevance and convergence. The evidence suggests agile governance is a new, wide, and multidisciplinary area focused on organizational performance that requires more intensive study.

This document discusses a new approach called the Match-Maker Algorithm for balancing load in computational grids. The algorithm takes into account the grid architecture, resource availability, and job characteristics. It focuses on module migration in an automated and dynamic manner to optimally allocate software modules to processing nodes. Prior approaches for load balancing in distributed systems are discussed, but they do not fully address the heterogeneous nature of grids or optimal load balancing across distributed systems. Dynamic Simulation of Construction Machinery: Towards an Operator Model
In dynamic simulation of complete wheel loaders, one interesting aspect, specific for the working task, is the momentary power distribution between drive train and hydraulics, which is balanced by the operator.
This paper presents the initial results to a simulation model of a human operator. Rather than letting the operator model follow a predefined path with control inputs at given points, it follows a collection of general rules that together describe the machine's working cycle in a generic way. The advantage of this is that the working task description and the operator model itself are independent of the machine's technical parameters. Complete sub-system characteristics can thus be changed without compromising the relevance and validity of the simulation. Ultimately, this can be used to assess a machine's total performance, fuel efficiency and operability already in the concept phase of the product development process.

Software engineering is a field of engineering, for designing and writing programs for computers or other electronic devices. A software engineer, or programmer, writes software (or changes existing software) and compiles software using methods that make it better quality. Is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testingand main tenance of software in a systematic method. Now a days the robotics are also plays an important role in present automation concepts. But we have several challenges in that robots when they are operated in some critical environments. Motion planning and task planning are two fundamental problems in robotics that have been addressed from different perspectives. For resolve this there are Temporal logic based approaches that automatically generate controllers have been shown to be useful for mission level planning of motion, surveillance and navigation, among others. These approaches critically rely on the validity of the environment models used for synthesis. Yet simplifying assumptions are inevitable to reduce complexity and provide mission-level guarantees; no plan can guarantee results in a model of a world in which everything can go wrong. In this paper, we show how our approach, which reduces reliance on a single model by introducing a stack of models, can endow systems with incremental guarantees based on increasingly strengthened assumptions, supporting graceful degradation when the environment does not behave as expected, and progressive enhancement when it does.

ATALK represents roles as service-oriented components that can be deployed and executed at runtime. It provides a compositional agent architecture that allows agents to dynamically integrate roles. Working with data is a challenge for many organizations. Nonprofits in particular may need to collect and analyze sensitive, incomplete, and/or biased historical data about people. In this talk, Dr. Cori Faklaris of UNC Charlotte provides an overview of current AI capabilities and weaknesses to consider when integrating current AI technologies into the data workflow. The talk is organized around three takeaways: (1) For better or sometimes worse, AI provides you with “infinite interns.” (2) Give people permission & guardrails to learn what works with these “interns” and what doesn’t. (3) Create a roadmap for adding in more AI to assist nonprofit work, along with strategies for bias mitigation.

- 1. Example of a Structured Abstract for Review Article Submissions to Human Factors (250 words maximum) Objective: We develop a method for enabling human-like, flexible supervisory control via delegation to automation. Background: Real time supervisory relationships with automation are rarely as flexible as human task delegation to other humans. Flexibility in human-adaptable automation can provide important benefits including: improved situation awareness, more accurate automation usage, more balanced mental workload, increased user acceptance, and improved overall performance. Method: We review problems with static and adaptive (as opposed to “adaptable”) automation. We contrast these approaches with human-human task delegation, which can mitigate many of the problems. We revise the concept of a “level of automation” as a pattern of task-based roles and authorizations and argue that delegation requires a shared hierarchical task model between supervisor and subordinates, used to delegate tasks at various levels and offer instruction on performing them. A prototype implementation, called PlaybookTM, is described. Results: On the basis of these analyses, we propose methods for supporting human-machine delegation interactions that parallel human-human delegation in important respects. We develop an architecture for machine-based delegation systems based on the metaphor of a sports team’s “playbook”. Finally, we describe a prototype implementation of this architecture, with an accompanying user interface and usage scenario, for mission planning for uninhabited air vehicles. Conclusion: Delegation offers a viable method for flexible, multi-level human- automation interaction to enhance system performance while maintaining user workload at a manageable level. Application: Most applications of adaptive automation (aviation, ATC, robot control, process control, etc.) are potential avenues for the adaptable, delegation approach we advocate. We present an extended example for UAV mission planning.
