4. Why Use it?
We believe we could improve upon what so many
have tried to do in making a transport app with a
clean UI and easy navigation.
We'd hope to create an app with a good, descriptive
UI which we believe would draw a lot of people in.
We will also have the integrated features that provide
information on the local nightlife and how to easily
get around (thus implementing the Translink
features)
5. People, Context, Activities
Our target audience is twofold.
One one hand, it may be used by your everyday
person with need of a fast, clean app to show them
their way around Brisbane.
On the other hand, our app caters to those looking
for an exciting night out in the city. It would show the
locations of local bars and clubs as well as their
proximity to transport. This is also helpful tourists
encouraging a better holiday experience.
6. Expected Features
A functional and informative UI that displays train and
bus times (maybe taxi and ferry included).
A GPS based function that shows bars and clubs
around Brisbane
A linking feature that shows proximity between train
stations/bus stops and said bars and clubs.
A map that shows a live feed of transportation in real
time
7. Unexpected Features
A big, easily accessible ‘HELP!’ button which sets a
route from the user’s current position to the nearest
train station. This may also be pre-programmed with
the user’s home address to provide an even more
straightforward way home. We figured this would be
a nice feature especially for drunk people who are not
known for their directional prowess.
